It may still be a wee bit premature to make a teaser blog about this subject matter, but Michelle Dee is being talked about in small pageant circles as seriously considering to enter the pageant route via Miss World Philippines 2019.
She just started her TV career at GMA7 and will have a part in an upcoming rom-com flick showing later this month. But with her home network handling MWP, then I can see no big obstacle for that happening this year.
Will blog more about this as soon as details become more final.
Miss Earth has a new home – network, that is.
Earlier today, the contract signing was held formalizing the move of Miss Earth and Carousel Productions Inc. to GMA-7 as its Official TV airing network.
Present were Carousel EVP Lorraine Schuck, Carousel VP Peachy Veneracion, GMA Network’s Joey Abacan and some of this year’s candidates, including Celeste Cortesi of the Philippines.
Meanwhile, the Welcome Party for this year’s candidates was held at Carousel Mansion in Mandaluyong City. Below are some photos of the delegates during the festive gathering.
Exactly one Sunday from this date, the finals of Miss World Philippines 2018 will culminate in the much-anticipated finals that will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena. And more than knowing who the next winners will be, I am curious to find out what new title/s will be announced (if the organizers are already at liberty to make them known on nationwide TV and social media).
As for the reigning titleholders, they have only one more week before handing away their national titles. Check out the interview below where GMA Network conducted a casual interview with Laura Lehmann, Win-Wyn Marquez, Cynthia Thomalla and Sophia Seneron.

This coming Monday, August 24, Miss World 2013 Megan Young will return to primetime TV with the start of “MariMar” on GMA 7. And our Queen really gave her best in performing her biggest lead role to date. It would really warm her heart even more if you will support and watch the series.
Megan will have actor Tom Rodriguez as leading man, with an excellent cast led by Bb. Pilipinas International 1986 Alice Dixson, Jaclyn Jose, Lauren Young, Zoren Legaspi, Ina Raymundo, Jaya Ramsey, Dion Ignacio, Candy Pangilinan, Carmi Martin, Nova Villa, Tommy Abuel, Frank Magalona, Ricardo Cepeda and Cris Villanueva.
Watch the two videos below. The first is a news clip on how Megan and Tom prepared for their roles, while the second is an interview with PEP on how the new remake will be played by Miss World 2013 herself. 🙂

And so it came to pass.
Miss World 2013 Megan Young is back to the network where she originally started her showbiz career that was beautifully interrupted last 2013 when she joined and won Miss World Philippines before claiming the blue crown in Bali, Indonesia the same year.
Queen Megan signed a one-year exclusive contract with GMA-7 where she is initially slated to host “Starstruck” – the reality-based artista search where was once a part of as a contender – with actor Dingdong Dantes. After this, the buzz is that she will finally return to full-time acting via a lead role in a teleserye which is still under wraps for now.
Welcome back to Philippine showbiz, Queen Megan! 😀
