Gone temporarily are the days when beauty pageants are held live in a big venue with a big audience watching and cheering for their favorites. Well, at least during this ECQ period. So when the offer came to be one of the Board of Judges for the first ever online pageant, I grabbed the opportunity right away. Truth be told, it wasn’t easy because the judging nights were long and tiring. But after one week of being involved with the whole process, the time spent was well worth it because it really rolled out like a true competition. Thanks to the Zoom app for making it easy for all of us. So without further ado, let me share our results which was followed by thousands of fans and supporters on social media.
Congratulations are in order for Mariane Crisologo (left photo) representing Nueva Ecija for winning the first-ever Queen of bECQi 2020 title. From hundreds of applicants and 130 Official Candidates at the onset, she now has the bragging rights for being the most beautiful beki in this trail-blazing online pageant, aside from being P100,000.00 richer.
Another Novo Ecijano insured a 1-2 punch in the Grand Finale when Matricamae Centino bannering Cabanatuan City captured 1st Runner-Up honors, winning P50,000.00 cash in the process.
It was a strong Top 3 indeed with another tentpole favorite Lars Pacheco of Bocaue, Bulacan being named 2nd Runner-Up that comes with P20,000.00 in cash prize. Meanwhile, Patrick Isorena of Laguna and Britney Madali of Quezon City got 3rd Runner-Up and 4th Runner-Up placements respectively to complete the winning circle.

It was a close fight for all the winners. In the end, Mariane edged out the rest with her most fluid answer during the Final Q&A.
Congratulations again to everyone and kudos to Wilbert Tolentino (right photo) for spearheading this online challenge of a pageant that allowed all participants to give their productive best during the #StayHome ECQ period. Thanks also to host Kristine Caballero-Aplal who did wonderfully in hosting all the web episodes and to my fellow judges Rodgil Flores, Ryan Soto, Gelbert Aplal, Chad Jonas and Frankendal Fabroa.

The video production above made by Gelbert Aplal for Rodgil Flores Production is the commemorative special for the 50th Mutya ng Pilipinas which also cooncided with the launch of the coffee table book “Mutya” that happened during the Homecoming of previous titleholders last Wednesday night at the Ascott BGC. 
Way back in October 2017 at Hannah’s Beach Resort and Convention Center in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, the video below was shot at a time when now Miss Universe Philippines 2018 Catriona Gray was still undecided on whether to push through with joining Bb. Pilipinas or postpone for one more year. As they say, the rest is now history. And as your blogger features our Queen as its most popular #HannahsRoyalty, we take pride in showing you the final cut of the video shoot that took days to finish.
Her full name is Jennifer Paweensuda Saetan-Drouin. But she prefers to be called “Fahsai” for short. This statuesque 23 year-old stunner from Thailand by way of Montreal is considered by many pageant followers as one of the strongest favorites in this year’s batch of Miss Earth delegates. She is beautiful, warm, engaging and can speak English like a true Spokesperson for the environment. In fact, this is one of the few instances where a Thai representative can eloquently express herself in the universal language. And how!
