Wesley D. King’s New Year Thoughts vividly capture the essence of the day by saying that “…It is the time of year when many turn their thoughts towards making changes, of setting new goals, and looking forward to positive possibilities waiting in the coming new year. Many skeptics trivialize this by going down the common lists of “New Year’s Resolutions”; always made but seldom realized in past years. But its important to always strive toward something better and a new year is just the occasion to ‘go for it’.

Though it’s always striking how one person’s worst year is another person’s best, an impending new day, week, month, or year should always be something that is looked forward to as being better than the day before…”

And since we’re in the subject of New Year, its’ Chinese equivalent will be ushered in just a little over a month from now (February 3 to be exact) where the Rabbit will reign supreme. It doesn’t automatically mean, though, that the Rabbit-signed individuals will have a wondrous time ahead. What’s more important is that we work hard, do good to others, enjoy life and always put God in the center of our lives. Hopefully, all good things will follow thereafter.

Should things start on the downside, never close your mind on the optimist within. The following months might see you doing better than expected. Always smile!
