Such an angelic face this Daniel Velasco has.
Daniel has a clean-cut boyish appeal.
Last Easter Sunday, we started with boyish-looking Robbie Beecroft for Mr. World Philippines 2014, let’s continue with the same template with professional model Daniel Velasco.
While some quarters may counter that Daniel may come off as looking like a relative softie compared to the hard-muscled and big-bodied caucasian competitors usually associated with Mr. World, there is also an equal chance that his wholesome and youthful personality will be given good notice by the organizers after the last winner (Francisco Parra) from Colombia exuded a similar aura.
Do I see thumbs up for him or not? 😉
Francisco Parra of Colombia (L) is Mister World 2012, Andrew Wolff of the Philippines is 1st Runner-Up
And the most desirable man in the world has been named.
Francisco Parra of Colombia was titled Mister World 2012 during the finals at Kent County Showground just hours back. He is the first Colombian to win the male pageant. First Runner-Up is our very own Andrew Wolff (also the Multimedia Challenge grabber) who gave the winner a tough fight till the end. Rounding up the Top 3 is 2nd Runner-Up Leo Delaney of Ireland.
Congratulations to the winners, especially Mister World Philippines!
P.S. Cory Quirino must be thrilled that her initial entrants to both Miss World (Gwen Ruais) and Mister World (Andrew Wolff) bagged 1st Runner-Up honors.

Just as Miss Earth 2012 will reach its climax tonight with the crowning of a new Mother Nature Ambassadress, Mister World 2012 will also name its ‘Most Desirable’ winner seven (or eight depending on DST) hours later at the Kent County Showground.
Hopefuly, one of the twelve ‘desirables’ above will take home the Mr. World 2012 title.
Could Andrew Wolff be the Philippines’ first Mister World?
I must admit that my gut-feel for male pageants is not as confidently in play compared to beauty contests. At any rate, I have posted above my twelve (12) choices for a potential winner. My top seed is Mr. Italy Fabio Rondinelli, with Alberto Cerro of Puerto Rico and Willian Rech completing a troika. Let’s see how the actual results jibe with this. My 4th seed is Leo Delaney of Ireland. I won’t be surprised if he makes it as well. A back-to-back win with compatriot Kamal Orlando Ibrahim (Mr. World 2010) is not so remote at this point.
Of course, I would still like to see our Mr. World Philippines Andrew Wolff take it all the way and bag the Philippines’ first Mister World win. Should that happen, MWP’s Cory Quirino will be pressured even more to come up with a topnotch Miss World Philippines 2013. 😉
Mr. World Philippines Andrew Wolff after winning the Sprint Event of Mr. World 2012. He is flanked by 2nd and 3rd placers Francisco Parra of Colombia (L) and David Fortune of Martinique.
Mr. World Philippines Andrew Wolff has proven his worth once more after claiming victory in the final round of the Mr. World Sports Challenge. Our bet drew most of his strength in the sprint event from the constant running that he regularly does as a rugby player of both the Philippine Volcanoes and the National Team for the 2013 Rugby World Cup.
After topping both Soccer Skills and Sprints, Andrew is well on his way to claiming an automatic spot in the Top 10 should he be declared overall champion in Sports. Right now, he is still neck-to-neck in points with Francisco Parra of Colombia who outclassed him during the first two rounds. Let’s see who will be announced come Saturday night’s Grand Finals.
Keep up the excellent work, Andrew! We’re proud of you! 😀
