Our two entries in Miss International Queen 2015 had their formal introductions in Bangkok, Thailand yesterday. Trixie Maristela and Francine Garcia proudly wore their National Costumes for the competition.
Trixie looked fantasy regal in her outfit made by Designer Chico Estiva. On the other hand, Francine projects a femme fatale aura and pose in her NatCos created by Benjamin Leguizamo IV, in collaboration with Rhexell Bermudes Cruz.
Miss International Queen 2015 will have its finals at the Tiffany’s Theater in Pattaya, Thailand on November 6.
Good luck to both of you, Trixie and Francine! 🙂
7:40 into the video below, she confirmed her joining as one of the Philippine representatives to MIQ2015 this coming October. She is acquainted with the reigning winner (Isabella Santiago of Venezuela, photo on the right) who was here in Manila during Super Sireyna Worldwide 2014.

Good luck in your preparations, Francine! 😀Trixie Maristela (with crown) is the first ever Ms. Gay Manila 2015. She is flanked by 2nd Runner-Up Francine Garcia (left) and 1st Runner-up Marianne Arguelles (Photo credit: Jory Rivera)

Trixie won P500,000 in cash prize and will now be the LGBT spokesperson for the City of Manila. Marianne and Francine each got P200,000 and P100,000, respectively.
The finals night – held at the PICC Plenary Hall – was hosted by Paolo Ballesteros and Divine Lee, with Anne Curtis Smith as guest performer.
Congratulations to Trixie, Marianne and Francine! 😀
P.S. To those looking for a video of the finals, I will post one as soon as it is made available. For now, here’s the one showing highlights of the Ms. Gay Manila 2015 Pre-Pageant.

Going back to the contenders, you’ll be surprised at the smart and smooth communication skills of most as they can easily give our national beauty pageants a quick run for the Q&A money. I listed below my dozen favorites to take the crown. 😉
Off my head, I would anticipate both Francine Garcia and Trixie Maristela (Super Sireyna winners both) to fight tooth and nail for the victory, although there could be some really pleasant spoilers – like Michelle Binas – just waiting to get their moment in the spotlight. But this much I can say, whoever will end up as #1 will definitely be a great spokesperson for the LGBT community of the City of Manila. For once, I am totally doffing my hat to Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada for elevating the image of gay beauty pageants and going all-out in this endeavor. 😀

I am happy that two of my personal favorites – Francine Garcia (last year’s Super Sireyna) and Justine Valenciano (People’s Choice in this year’s Super Sireyna) – were able to secure their spots in the magic circle with ease and charm. Kudos as well to the three others who made it – Inday Sita, Faiel Valenciano and Patricia Maristela.
Keep on bringing the charm, ladies! 😀
Guys, I want to share with you the much talked-about Grand Finals of Super Sireyna Queen of Queens 2013. Below are the videos divided into six parts. Apologies for the less than clear quality, but this is the most complete set I could find on Youtube. Just the same, you will be amazed at the finalists, most especially the world-class fantasy costumes. The Q&A, especially of the winner Francine Garcia, was a killer (what with a killer question from judge Isabelle Daza). I was impressed with the whole event over-all. Do watch now. 😉
