Come June 15, 2014, Mr. World 2014 will be selected in the English Riviera, South-West of England. The biennial pageant which is looking for the “World’s Most Desirable Man” is already in its 8th edition. The reigning winner, Francisco Javier Escobar Parra of Colombia (to whom the Philippines’ Andrew Wolff placed 1st Runner-Up to), will be looking at ushering in this year’s contenders and relinquishing his title to the next best candidate to fill his shoes.
Now who could be the Philippine representative this time around? I know that Andrew Wolff was appointed by Ms. Cory Quirino at the last minute. And I won’t be surprised if she comes up with the sash-wearer around mid-May. I trust her instincts, though. I reckon she will look once more at members of the Azkals or Volcanoes, but hopefully, she will go beyond these teams and coordinate with other groups to come up with the best possible choices to select one ultimately desirable Mr. World Philippines 2014. 😉
Top of my head as possible choices are 6’5″ model Vince Ferraren who was seen last in one of McDonald’s Hooray for Today TVC and 6′ Fil-Brit athlete Charlie Sutcliffe who is now appearing on TV5’s Juan Direction.
Any suggestions, dear readers? 🙂
