I have just finished watching Episode 1 of the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 #RingLightSeries late last night.
This is not a mere pageant or show or spectator event for people to be entertained. This is a process of molding #phenomenalwomen into future leaders, movers, shakers and tentpole strategists. Now I can clearly understand the rationale behind the catchphrases:

Starting this year, Miss Universe Singapore (MUS) is taking on a classier and more competitive look and appeal with the entrance of Jonas Gaffud and Empire.ph – in partnership with Beauté Hub – in the relative overhaul of the biggest national pageant in the Lion City.
