At the Activity Area of Fisher Mall late yesterday afternoon, the Press Presentation of the Official Candidates of Mr. & Miss Best Model Asia-Pacific Philippines 2015 were introduced to members of the media and the general public. Fifteen men and fourteen women make up the roster of aspirants where the top two (2) winners will be the country’s representatives to the first-ever Best Model Asia-Pacific to be hosted here in the Philippines next year.
“We are optimistic that out of this group of promising models, we will find individuals who can be at par with the best that we have in the local modeling industry and eventually can break in the international scenes“, says Otek Lopez, President and CEO of Altcom Corporation, the organizer of the model search. “There are lots of potential models for our first batch of search. What they need are proper styling and training, right attitude and patience like what the other successful models went through before they hit big-time., Designer Arielle Agasang added.
Elite Model Look Philippines 1995 Rolen Caralde has been taken in as posing and ramp consultant for the ladies, with Manhunt International 2012 June Macasaet in charge of the guys.
The male contenders are Brian Jhay Rimon, Bryalle Benoza, Harvie Jason Valencia, Augusto Carreon Jr, Wesley James Martin, Jimmy Dionisio, Mark Lester Lhatina, Joeser Sinfuego, Jhomar Dy, Ray Martinez, Paul Alvin Buiza, Christian Morris Mayo, Rolly Oporto, Jonar Silva and Jefferson Quinto. The female participants are Joanna Rose Toledo, Mariel Pactorajan, Wendy Joy Velez, Winchell Claire Padlan, Jorielle Asprec, Eloisa Rose Manalo, Jemima Grace Bagasan, Vivian Belleza Wladkoski, Maria Gail Debora Tobes, Christine Joy Cruz, Haira Mae Cruz, Abby Dizon and Mhia Guerrero.
Finals night of Best Model Asia-Pacific Philippines 2015 will be held on December 16 at the URBN Bar and Kitchen in Quezon City.
