For those still unfeatured candidates of Misters of the Philippines 2014, I am posting this one to familiarize them with you, dear readers. Below is a sextet of contenders who are in the thick of vying for the four titles at stake. They complete the twenty-six males who will take part in the Finals this coming Sunday at UMak Grand Theater.
Bernard Joseph Sumera of Paombong, Bulacan comes into the competition armed with modeling gigs and some bit roles on TV tucked under his belt.
“My advocacy is to spread the word of love to people. If we could love God, we will be able to love everyone and that will make us better individuals. There will be no killings and crime.“, Bernard states.
Some will find his seductive looks disarming. So if you want to cast your vote for this Bulakenyo, click HERE.
A cultural dancer who swims for fitness, John Henry Pescador of Ilocos Norte is still working at his Hotel & Restaurant Management degree.
Henry believes that “The best thing about being a Filipino is that we are gifted of undying will. We don’t have the excuses in giving up every time we encounter difficulties in life. Our will and determination make us rise through tragedies in life.”

Edviro Fuentes, Jr. of Samar is a Registered Nurse by profession. He completed his studies at Tacloban City’s Remedios Trinidad Romualdez Medical Foundation.
This contender – with a nicely gym-toned body to be proud of – sings and dances, but also enjoys poring his mind over interesting books to beef up his knowledge.
I’m sure this bet from Samar has his share of supporters and followers. So if you want to keep on voting for him to become a Fan Favorite, click HERE.
So where is Semirara Island exactly? For the uninformed, it is part of a group of islands in Caluya, Antique associated with mining.
Dennis Montero – who was a previous joiner of Mister Philippines – is a tall gym instructor who adheres to the importance of the male pageant as a “a venue to tell the entire Philippines what is in Semirara Island and how it plays a major role in providing electricity to its neighboring provinces.”

Elcid Camacho dreams of becoming a Licensed Civil Engineer one day. But in the meantime, his mind is focused on doing well in the competition for his province of Bohol.
Elcid wrote in his online bio that “Filipinos are known for being hard-working and talented. That’s why I’m very proud being a Filipino because it takes hard work to develop our talents.”

This Physical Therapist from Quezon City enjoys performing a lot. He also collects Starbucks tumblers as a hobby.
Timothy Justin Ancheta puts his faith in Medical Tourism. “As a health practitioner, my advocacy revolves in alleviating pain and promoting better health for everyone. I am to reach those who are in pain or are with difficulty in their function and help them. I aim to show that good health and a better life is not only for the rich but for everyone who is willing to embrace it.”

So there. That completes my “getting-to-know-you” posts for Misters of the Philippines 2014. Have you made up your mind on who will make up your list of final picks? I hope so.
My Final Predictions will go live at midnight. 😉
