Catch us in today’s #BawalJudgmental segment of Eat Bulaga! Show starts at 12noon.
As a prelude to the start of #MUPHsaEB, our guesting revolved around Pageant Coaching/Mentoring. Together with #PageantCoach Shandy Montecarlo Lim, #PasarelaExpert Ian Mendajar and former Bb. Pilipinas titleholder Marina Benipayo (now TV actress), we each went through the usual drill of telling about our special skills and life experiences.
Starting tomorrow, the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 candidates will have their scheduled appearances on the country’s longest-running noontime variety show. Perhaps, this could be part of their challenges.
We all had fun doing the live taping at the APT Studios that it turned out to be informative and humor-filled at the same time.
Thank you, Direk Rod and the entire EB Team for the opportunity!

Miss Millennial Cebu Nicole Borromeo achieved a back-to-back win for Cebu after she was crowned Miss Millennial Philippines 2019 during the Grand Coronation Day on Eat Bulaga. She now succeeds last year’s Shaila Rebortera.
Her court includes:
1st Runner-Up Angela Maria Robson of Pampanga
2nd Runner-Up Annabelle Mae McDonnell of Lanao Del Norte
3rd Runner-Up Maica Martinez of Nueva Ecija
Congratulations!
It was a long process but we all had a good time pre-judging the forty (40) Official Candidates of Miss Millennial Philippines 2018 on the daily noontime show “Eat Bulaga” of GMA-7. Along with MU2010 4th Runner-Up Venus Raj, Bb. Pilipinas Universe 1997 Abbygale Arenas, Popular Vlogger Dwaine Woolley, PAL’s Cezanne Villafuerte and PotenCee’s Ayne Rili, I really enjoyed the more than 3 hours spent assessing the young ladies.
Hopefully, the best of the group will zoom ahead to the Top 10 come Finals Day on Saturday, October 27 at the Kia Theater Araneta Center.
Good luck to everyone!

Soon, you will start meeting the 40 Millennial Queens of 2018 who will vie for the crown of the reigning titleholder Julia Novel Gonowon. You will also get to see the beauty of their respective provinces and/or municipalities as they help in local tourism and promotion.
Watch out on GMA-7’s Eat Bulaga!

I will join Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina, actor Benjamin Alves and celebrity/car racer Marlon Stockinger in the panel for the Live Stream of the Pre-Judging in FB and the show’s YouTube channel.
This is going to be exciting because I have reviewed the 46 Official Candidates and they look gorgeous!
Earlier in the day, the very first Miss Millenial Philippines was crowned during the finals held at the Mall of Asia Arena – a pageant that syncs with GMA-7’s noontime show “Eat Bulaga”.
Julia Gonowon of Camarines Sur topped the strong competition and won for herself P500,000.00, a brand-new Mitsubishi Montero Sport and a house-and-lot from Bria Homes (this prize package makes the winnings of our national beauty queens pale in comparison, without a doubt).
Carina Cariño of La Union finished 1st Runner-Up, with Eleonora Valentina Laotenza of Aklan and Shiara Joy Dizon of Malabon claiming 2nd and 3rd Runner-Up placements, respectively. Dianne Lacayanga of Ilocos Norte was named Bayanihan Queen.

Just when you thought that you’re filled to the brim with national beauty contests sprouting left and right, here comes Eat Bulaga on GMA Network which has just started the search for Miss Millenial Philippines 2017. No, this is not one of those gimmicky segment fillers of the popular noontime show. It is actually a proper beauty pageant participated in by close to forty (40) candidates who won in their respective provinces plus a few others who have already participated in other national competitions such as Dianne Lacayanga of Ilocos Norte & Jaila Ragindin of Bataan in Mutya ng Pilipinas and Sofia Panapanaan in Miss Philippines Earth. The focus is on local tourism and how each participant will enthusiastically promote her place of origin while presenting herself as the best version of the female millenial for 2017.

The big difference in this pageant is the candidates’ frequent exposures on nationwide TV with the different stages of the competition televised daily. And for sure, the supporters of each of them will come in droves to cheer and make noise all the way.
More on Miss Millenial Philippines 2017 in the days and weeks to come.

Gentlemen of the Philippines – Universal Ambassador 2016 Andrea Biondo’s preparations for Mister Universal Ambassador 2016 are – quite literally – hectic nowadays. From gym workouts to skin treatments to dental appointments to clothes fitting to product launches to new endorsements to TV/Radio guestings to media interviews to dance talent training to Q&A sessions – name it. The past week and a half saw him doing all of these activities. And the schedule won’t be free in the upcoming days ahead leading to his departure for Bali, Indonesia on September 20.
Andrea will have more personal appearances soon. He will hold his Heart of Ambassador Charity Project – “Run for the Win” – this coming Saturday at the Quezon City Memorial Circle for the benefit of Barangay Pansol Youth Organization (BPYO) which will be his main cause/advocacy for the international competition. He is going for Health & Fitness for the Youth. And on the night of the same date, he will be showing up in the Pre-Pageant judging (along with yours truly) of Mr. Gay World Philippines at the Trinity University of Asia Theater together with Mr. Model International Philippines 2016 Job Abogado. And on Sunday, it will be his intimate send-off to Bali where the whole team of Gentlemen Charities Incorporated (GCI) including fellow titleholders and candidates-brothers from Gentlemen of the Philippines will mix with members of the Press plus sponsors and friends who truly support him.

With the help of the Aldub fans, Aldub Maiden Nation, Comedian Allan K and Eat Bulaga, Andrea jumped from #8 to #1 in the website voting!
Please keep sending love for him in the three areas of Mister Universal Ambassador voting: Popularity via the pageant’s Facebook page, Official Voting via the pageant’s website and via Instagram @misteruniversalambassador. This is going to be the biggest male competition this year after assembling sixty-two (62) confirmed delegates so far. Your back-up will be much appreciated.
All for the love of Andrea. 😉
Patricia Tumulak has beautifully moved on. She is done with pageantry – be it Bb. Pilipinas or her withdrawn participation in Miss Multiverse. She is now on TV and how. Her popularity is gradually soaring. Thanks in big part to her becoming the HBD (Happy Birthday) girl of the long-time hit noontime show “Eat Bulaga” on GMA-7. She is capturing the heart of the masses and is in fact being regularly thrown in the company of the famous Yaya Dub (or Maine Mendoza) who shares the same March 3 birthdate with her.
Methinks she will really find her niche on the small screen. And hosting fits her well.
