It’s the 1st of December – the most wonderful month of the year because Christmas is coming to town soon. That’s the reason why I started with a wacky video clip from Saturday Night Live where they previously made a comic sketch of Miss Universe 2013. Now if everything is in order and no last-minute changes take place, then beautiful ladies will be arriving in Manila sooner than the Holiday Rush.

You see, the talks of a Christmas Tour for the 2017 and 65th Miss Universe winners scheduled for a 5-day, 5-night stay from December 5-10 in our country have healthily taken shape, albeit discretely being kept in wraps. I’m keeping my fingers crossed because it would be so nice to have both Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters and Iris Mittenaere in our midst. And let’s throw in their respective runners-up plus a string of other delegates from their batches flying in.
So far, there are three (3) big media coverages planned for the guests – a Welcome Dinner, a Christmas Tree Lighting in Eastwood Mall and a Fashion Show (tentatively penciled with Marriot Manila). Let’s see how everything will pan out very soon.
So sit back, relax and enjoy the Christmas ride! 😀
Sunday is always a family day for me. It also happens to be a day of gastronomic hunting. But for the past two months now, we got stuck with Cyma. We’ve been going back and forth here and must admit that all members of the family never get tired of eating their delicious food! Personally, I go to Cyma whenever I’m in one of my no-mood-for-meat eating binges. Just give me a trio of solo Roka Salata, solo Roka Pasta and the sinfully-yummy Skolatina and I’m good!
The glorious Roka Salata (generously topped with Blue cheese) sets up my appetite for more!
Cyma's version of the simple pasta - Roka Pasta - is a real tummy-filler without much of the calorie guilt!
Cyma's version of the Chicken Adobo is so tasty!
And for dessert? You wouldn't want to miss their decadent Skolatina! But order ahead because it takes them at least 15 minutes to prepare this 'to-die'for' creation.
I frequent their branch at Alabang Town Center all the time because I live in the south. But you can also drop by their outlets in Greenbelt 2, Trinoma, Shangri-La Mall, Eastwood, Boracay (D’Mall), and at the Terraces in Ayala Center Cebu. If you want to further check out their menu, visit Cyma’s website.
Trust me. You will enjoy the eating experience here that you will come back for more! 😉
