According to my reliable source, the owners of The Miss Globe Pageant Ltd. are in the thick of negotiations for Vietnam to be the host country of the 2018 edition where our reigning Bb. Pilipinas Globe Michele Gumabao will represent the Philippines. It makes sense considering that last year’s winner is Vietnamese beauty Do Tran Khan Nganh (left photo) who won in Tirana, Albania with our very own Nelda Ibe as 1st Runner-Up.
If talks reach a fruitful conclusion, then Michele will have the advantage of having only a short air travel to her pageant mission. And this also means that support for her can be easily assembled with the reasonable airfare to Vietnam allowing more followers to book a flight going there.
Will update you on this, and the pageant destinations of our other Queens soon.
Miss Vietnam and Miss Philippines – last two women standing for The Miss Globe 2017
Asian power was at its finest in Tirana, Albania when Miss Vietnam Do Tran Khanh Ngan won The Miss Globe 2017 with Miss Philippines Nelda Ibe getting 1st Runner-Up.
Miss Siberia Elena Latypova is 2nd Runner-Up. Miss Albania Alessia Çoku is 3rd Runner-Up. Miss Capo Verde Simone Heijligers is 4th Runner-Up.
While the transmission was not at its best, kudos to the organizers for staging the pageant creditably well.
Kudos as well to Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2017 Nelda Ibe for bagging 1st Runner-Up honors, plus National Costume Maker Frederick Berches and Evening Gown Designer Paolo Blanco for making her look more radiant onstage during the Finals. Jojo Bragais provided the heels all throughout the competition.
Hi! Norman here. When I'm not working, I spend most of my free time planning on daily blogs. If you will notice, I always make sure that a fresh topic comes out everyday - not an easy thing to do but it's all good. Thanks for dropping by and enjoy the visit!
