To say that Bb. Pilipinas-International 2011 Dianne Elaine Necio is preparing hard for Miss International 2011 would be an understatement. She is dutifully doing all her homework and religiously attending all trainings to insure that she is battle-ready for the competition in Chengdu, China. At this point, she is not leaving any stone unturned, especially that she is coming off from the excellent performance of batchmate Shamcey Supsup in Miss Universe 2011. Just turn your gaze at all the glam shots of our delegate and you will agree that she has levelled up in a way that would help her achieve the objective of being crowned as the country’s 5th Miss International. Will she make it? 😉
I am continuing my Bb. Pilipinas 2010 Focus blogs today. This time, let’s take a look at the three strong Bicolana beauties who are out to win the pageant and sustain the victory of another Bicolana, Melody Gersbach, who was crowned Bb. Pilipinas-International 2009 and landed a semi-final slot in the Miss International Contest in China.
First on the list is the tallest among the three – Candidate No. 11 Maria Venus Raj. This 5’10” stunner initially joined Miss Philippines Earth 2008 and landed in the Top 5 with the title of Miss Philippines Eco-Tourism. This year, she is back with a big bang – complete with a total makeover that firmly places her in the strong running for one of the titles at stake.
And then there’s Candidate No. 22 Dianne Elaine Necio. Pageant kibitzers compare her to former Bb. Pilipinas-Universe and Miss Universe 1st Runner-Up Miriam Quiambao in more ways than one. She is said to exude the same aura and facial appeal. She is 5’7″ and a true charmer in pictures.
Completing the trio is Candidate No. 3 Patrixia Sherly Santos. Although standing only a few cms. shy of 5’6″, she makes up for it with her sweet presence and graceful disposition. Hers is the face that can easily capture the hearts of young men.
So how will these three Bicolana beauties fare in this year’s competition? Positively, I must say. Maria Venus Raj and Dianne Elaine Necio are easy shoo-ins for the Top 12 or Top 10. If one of them eventually wins, then the victorious streak of the region continues!
