Three years ago today, Norman’s Blog debuted on the web. I may sound like a broken record, but lasting this long never entered my mind back then. Ever so slowly, I was able to carve a nifty little niche as a pageant blogger. I do sprinkle my posts with topics on TV, movies, travel and persons I am particularly fond of, but nothing close to the number of pageant-related posts that have flooded my site (& timeline) since July, 2009.
So alongside my blog’s new look (I’m still open to oppositions if any), let me just share some significant numbers with you, my dear readers:
Top Commenters:

The Top 7 Commenters of Norman’s Blog
Outside of your blogger, I have to cite the readers who have the three highest numbers of comments made in my topics. They are basil, GlennDyer and TGIF. Special thanks to these three individuals (plus the other regulars) who never wavered in their support of my blog.
Busiest Day

The busiest day of Norman’s Blog
April 11, 2011 was particularly memorable because it came up with the busiest day in my blog – 34,658 to be exact. This number was greatly assisted by the results of Bb. Pilipinas 2011 which attracted an unusually high number of visits. Last April, Bb. Pilipinas 2012 reached more than 25k in hits but nothing close to my all-time high.
Top-viewed Posts

All-time top-viewed posts in Norman’s Blog
It is expected that my home page will get the highest number of views in the above summary. After that, however, it is surprising that the next on the list is an old blog I made about (of all people) Miley Cyrus. But following her are former Miss Brazil Debora Lyra (muito obrigado) and Miss Universe 2011 3rd Runner-Up Shamcey Supsup.
Top Country Views

Country views of Norman’s Blog since February 25, 2012
Since February 25 this year, WordPress started an official country view statistic of all its sponsored blogs. So outside the Philippines, the three highest country views come from the United States, Canada and Saudi Arabia. I perfectly understand why these three nations stood tall in this list. But the places that amused me (which did not make it to the top) as having readers/visits from are Syria, Tanzania, Ivory Coast, Bhutan, Malawi and Mozambique – the highest among the lowest.
So to everyone who supported my blog through the years, my heartfelt gratitude! It would be an understatement to say that this blog virtually changed the landscape of my life. It now occupies quite a big spot in my daily routine. And I always look forward to coming up with new topics. As for the ads you can see below the featured post (and sidebar), here’s a shameless request: clicking on them will help sustain my online presence. 😀
Here’s to more attention-grabbing blog bites in the next 365 days! 😉
