Dear readers, if you still haven’t checked out the Instagram account of Miss Grand International 2016 1st Runner-Up Nicole Cordoves @binibiningnicolecordoves, it has more than a few images of her extended vacation in the US (right after the competition in Las Vegas) which she spent on the West Coast. And boy, did she really enjoy that part of her journey to the max.

So what’s new with Nicole? Well, she will also have a victory celebration with her #Cordobesties this coming weekend. I was invited to take part (as I know that the honoree will definitely put me on the guest list). Sadly, I will be in Cotabato City to judge a pageant this Friday evening and will go straight to Sariaya, Quezon for a media launch of Figuras 2017. That will really test my resistance to fatigue!

Cordobesties for Nicole Cordoves in Bb. Pilipinas 2016

 
Nicole Cordoves was definitely in her best elements during the Bb. Pilipinas 2016 screenings last February 12. She was at her wittiest, charming the panel with her gift of gab and a vibrant overall demeanor that exuded an unmistakble lady of class and intelligence. After all, she will not hold an important responsibility inside the country’s Department of Finance if she was any less.

5’9″ Nicole, who once reigned as Miss Chinatown Philippines, is a Binibini worth your due attention. She may not lavish spectators with a show of diva moves, but she will enthrall you the minute the spotlight is on her – hook, line and sinker as the popular phrase goes.

Now with the newly-formed “CORDOBESTIES” standing behind her journey on the road to Bb. Pilipinas, Nicole has found well-intentioned allies who will cheer her every performance, vote when the popularity polls start showing up and unite as one up until the much-awaited finals come April 17.

So with that, all I can say is: “Go, Nicole Cordoves!
Go, CORDOBESTIES!” 😀
