I know that you missed watching a proper live streaming of the finals of Miss Intercontinental 2021 due to technical difficulties from the organizers. I was told that the venue at Sharm El Sheikh Museum is practically in the desert so the stable internet connection was a big concern.
What a lovely holiday season this will be with you in our midst! She will most likely spend Christmas and New Year in the country before starting her travels as part of the reign.
The morning after when it has all sunk in. With the crown and sash of Miss Intercontinental 2021, Cindy Obeñita is ready to begin a reign she once thought was just a dream.

Behold the National Costume of Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2021 Cindy Obeñita for Miss Intercontinental 2021:
“Filipinos have long been in love with the enchantments of a #DIWATA, a mythical goddess whose omnipotence can be likened to Egyptian deities.
Across regional literatures in the Philippines, the character of a Diwata is almost always a mainstay narrative deep-rooted in the culture and daily life of the Filipino.
In this national costume, Cinderella also glides with Cariñosa movements, a Philippine folk dance in the Maria Clara suite.
Prominent in this ensemble is the prestigious color gold, which is a nod to the ancient history of the Philippines and its gold-producing culture, particularly in Mindanao where Cindy proudly comes from. For these gold neck pieces, we collaborated with Mindanao’s crownmaker Tres Cartera and Ben Torres Metalcraft for the beaten brass component of this masterpiece and ALjethro Amorin Sebastian for the leaves fabric manipulation.”

Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2021 Cindy Obeñita is ready to check-in for her Philippine Airlines flight that will signal the actual start of her journey to the Miss Intercontinental 2021 crown. She won’t be traveling alone. And the support of Cagayan de Oro City and the entire Province of Misamis Oriental will see her through the entire competition.
Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2021 Cinderella Faye Obeñita
Tomorrow, October 13, Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2021 Cinderella Faye “Cindy” Obeñita will be departing for Egypt to join the other candidates of Miss Intercontinental 2021 in Sharm El Sheikh. It would be an understatement to say that she is aiming to become our second Filipina winner of the competition because she is going there armed with all the support of her beloved CDO and Misamis Oriental.
In the meantime, check out her interview with Nicole Cordoves in the video below.
This is most definitely one of the best country introduction videos I have watched. This lady makes me so proud!
Check out Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2021 Cindy Obeñita as she gives us a tour of several continents using the natural wonders of the Philippines. Such a clever approach, with seamless editing and great underwater shots. This is more than just tourism at its finest. She is out to win our second Miss Intercontinental crown in Egypt next month.
Last night’s Grand Coronation of Binibining Pilipinas 2021 was made more exciting by the victory of Cinderella Faye “Cindy” Obeñita who was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2021 – she who crossed the fine line between coming from behind (as the winner of the People’s Choice and becoming the 13th Finalist) and slaying the Q&A big-time – a feat that convinced the judges of her crown-worthiness.
Cagayan de Oro and Misamis Oriental, #rejoice!
You have a new Queen – a lady who perfectly exemplifies the #NewBeautiful and the #NewBinibini.
Congratulations❣️

In a 2015 article by Devorah Blachor for the Huffington Post, she made mention of several points that can make the Disney character of Cinderella relevant in this day and age. One of them reads, and I quote.:
“Relevant Cinderella: Once upon a time, in spite of all the advertisements and messages that tried to convince a woman that she had to be perfect and look perfect and have a perfect life, she realized that it was all really daft, because nothing is perfect and that she was going to accept imperfection in herself and in the people around her and make it work.”
A tall, beautiful and intelligent young lady named Cinderella Faye “Cindy” Obeñita – who also happens to be the reigning Miss Cagayan de Oro – is one fine example of someone who has no trouble accepting her flaws and transforming them into beneficial strengths. She is not your typical pageant aspirant who walks around in platform heels and well-styled OOTDs on a daily basis. She would comfortably wear her prescription eyeglasses while attired in smart get-ups to make her work as Head of the Planning and Events Division of the Provincial Tourism Office in Misamis Oriental more productive.
Cindy graduated Magna cum Laude from the Liceo de Cagayan University with a degree in Mass Communication. She was a student-jounalist for 10 years where she honed her writing skills in news, sports, technical and feature articles. Aside from her present day job, she also functions as an event/pageant host, print and ramp model, brand endorser and an advocate of cervical cancer prevention.
This 2020, she will make the name “Cinderella” more relevant by signing up to become a Binibini and – hopefully – bring more pride to her hometown and home province of Carmen, Misamis Oriental. No fairy tales, just plain real talk.
I can’t wait to see you shine here in Manila, Cindy!
Hi! Norman here. When I'm not working, I spend most of my free time planning on daily blogs. If you will notice, I always make sure that a fresh topic comes out everyday - not an easy thing to do but it's all good. Thanks for dropping by and enjoy the visit!
