This week, Mister International 2014/15 Neil Perez was invited as special guest of Tawi-Tawi Governor Hubert Sahali and Congresswoman Ruby Sahali for personal appearances in a Fun Run and a number of charitable events.

Along with actor Carlos Agassi, he bonded with the locals as he was welcomed like a movie star of sorts. He got the big crowds everywhere he went and our handsome Police Officer returned the warm hospitality by being his most accommodating and personable self. He fully enjoyed his time in Tawi-Tawi, and promised to return in the future. 🙂

misters Our first-ever Misters of the Philippines 2014 winners are here!

In the just-concluded Finals at the Grand Theatre of the University of Makati, four (4) new titleholders were selected and they will represent the country in various international male pageants abroad.

Leading the charge to victory is – as expected – Neil Perez of Tondo, Manila who was named Mister International Philippines 2014 for Mister International 2014 in Seoul, Korea. The second-highest winner is Joseph Doruelo of Caloocan City with the title of Mister Global Philippines 2014 bound for Mr. Global 2014 in Bangkok, Thailand. Next is Adam Davies of Fil UK who copped Mister Model International Philippines 2014 with a trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic for Mister Model International 2014. Rounding out the Top 4 is Judah Cohen of Fil USA who captured Mister Tourism International Philippines 2014 honors that will bring him to Panama City for Mister Tourism International 2014. The important First Runner-Up position went to Nicko dela Cruz of Sta. Cruz, Manila.

misters Come September 7, Misters of the Philippines 2014 will have a pair of eye candies as hosts for the finals. The duo of Miss Philippines Earth 2013 Angelee delos Reyes and actor/model Carlos Agassi is a novel combination that hasn’t been tried before so it will be interesting to see how their onstage chemistry will click.

The venue is also new to me. The Grand Theater of Univerity of Makati should serve the purpose of the male competition very well with its seating capacity of close to 1,000. I’m looking forward to both! 😉
