For those waiting a brief one-on-one with strong favorite Isabella Manjon, here it is together with fellow candidates Janine Tugonon and Camille Alexis Baltazar.

What are your thoughts about these ladies? 😉

Watch the video above and judge the casual communication skills of Bb. Pilipinas 2011 Official Candidates Shamcey Supsup, Sabrinne Al-Tawil, Martha Chloe McCully, Luzelle Felipe and Camille Baltazar.
Shamcey is clearly a good speaker in English, while Luzelle could be another Janina San Miguel. Chloe’s answers leave much to be desired, while Camille tries to be cutesy and all but still able to put across their answers. Sabrinne is okay, but nothing impressive.
And below is a bonus ambush interview with reigning Bb. Pilipinas-Universe Venus Raj and beautiful Actress/TV Host Iya Villania on their views about the Press Presentation. It’s quite clear that they also love MJ Lastimosa and Shamcey Supsup.

The third and last batch of Official Candidates for Bb. Pilipinas 2011 is also a very strong group. I can definitely see at least one titleholder here. The quality of contenders is high.
My choices? #34 Mary Jean Lastimosa, #33 Dianne Necio, #37 Sarah Clenci, #29 Krystle Ann Grant, #30 Kathleen Subijano #38 Ladylyn Riva and #28 Ma. Paula Bianca Paz. Whew! It’s hard to trim them down!
Who are your picks for the third group? 😉

Once more, the Official Candidates of Bb. Pilipinas 2011 displayed their refreshing faces and bubbly personalities during the mall parade at Araneta Gateway’s Capiztahan sa Araneta which focused on the bright colors and lively sounds of Boracay. The pictures below are courtesy of my friends Boyet Blas and Noli Berioso. If you want to see more photos, click HERE.
The girl can sing, that’s for sure. During the talent competition of Bb. Pilipinas 2011, she rendered her version of singer Sitti’s Bossa Nova ditty Para Sa Akin and was well-applauded by most everyone. Click on her talent video below and see for yourself:

Of course, good singing talent does not a Bb. Pilipinas make. But if she can charm her way to the judges’ hearts with a song, then why not? But how far will it bring her? The girl is talented and beautiful. She has already captured a string of minor beauty titles in the past, the most prominent of which is being crowned Miss Teen Philippines Earth 2011. And these small victories should help firm up her confidence the moment she faces the bigger and more exacting demands of the country’s premiere national pageant.
What are her chances this year? Well, I wouldn’t exactly place her among my choices for titleholders just yet. But a semi-final slot is always a possibility. If and when she makes the cut, then she will need all the luck and grace under pressure plus good answers for the Q&A to move beyond what everyone else is projecting her to end up as.
As usual, I say “Good luck, girl!” 😉
