The auditions are over. The VJ-wannabes from all over the Philippines have given it their best shot. And whoever made it to the finals this year are just waiting to be formally introduced to the press and on TV. Half a dozen girls plus the same number of boys will be immersed into the world of showbiz via MYX. Along the way, they will compete in a series of challenges that will filter the best and brightest from the batch. The eventual winners will be looked up to by the youth as role models as well so it goes without saying that they should deserve the victory, aside from getting support via online votes and the like.

Who will shine this year? And who will join the likes of current MYX VJs Luis Manzano, Iya Villania, Robi Domingo, Nikki Gil, Chino Lui Pio and Bianca Roque? And who will follow the footsteps of last year’s winners Janine Ramirez and Nel Gomez?

Last Saturday, June 5, the eliminations have already started airing over the MYX Channel. And starting next week – and every Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays up to the last week of July – you will get to watch this year’s 12 finalists in action en route to selecting the winners (1 boy and 1 girl*) who will become MYX’s newest VJs.

* – the configuration of winners every year is always at the discretion of MYX. it can be 1 boy/1 girl or 1 boy/2 girls or 2 boys/1 girl or 2 boys/2 girls.
