Miss Universe 2011: My Favorite Glamshots

In keeping with the true spirit of host country Brazil, the glamshots of Miss Universe 2011 are played with the themes of carnival and samba. And just looking at all 89 photographs taken by Fadil Berisha is enough to put me into a state of fun and fieriness…and so did the girls’ poses. I chose 15, presented in alphabetical order, which stood out from the rest. Sway those hips now!

Reviewing my 15 glamshot picks, I would have to give the Top 5 to Serbia’s Anja Šaranović, Brazil’s Priscila Machado, Colombia’s Catalina Robayo, Kosovo’s Aferdita Dreshaj and Greece’s Iliana Papageorgiou. Tough to rank them, but it needs to be done.

Viewing all 89 headshots of the Miss Universe 2011 delegates is not a daunting task. But to choose the outstanding ones can be. Much as I would like to limit my choices to just 15 favorites, I decided to add 5 more because this is such a competitive batch that it would do some of the girls injustice if I don’t recognize their excellent portrait pictures.
