Without spoiling the Bench/ Body swimwears that the Miss World Philippines 2021 Candidates will wear on Press Presentation and the Beach Beauty Challenge, here is an exclusive* video of the 45 ladies during the closed-door swimsuit preview held at the Bench Tower in BGC yesterday.
National Director Arnold Vegafria (standing, left photo) poses with the ladies at the holding area after the closed door event.
Each candidate was gifted with a box of Bench/ lifestyle “Queenssentials” products which they will promote as part of the Multimedia Challenge of the competition.
The screening panel during the activity was made up of Ben Chan, Miguel Pastor and Bryan Lim of Bench, Ara Arida and Designer Rhett Eala.
PS You will only get to see their faces above.

In shots taken by Mark Neto Diaz with Creative Direction and Styling by Vhee Co plus swimwear by Bench Body, here are the 40 Beach Beauties of Miss World Philippines 2018.
By the way, they did their own makeups using BYS Cosmetics PH.

Bench Body held an underwear show that highlighted its latest lines, including the Michael Cinco Collection
Mr. World Philippines 2014 John Spainhour during the show
In this, the latest fashion show of Bench Body (with crisp images from our reliable lens man Bruce Casanova
), the popular underwear company unveiled its Michael Cinco Collection alongside the newest designs of its regular line. While this event does not measure up to the big ones staged at the MOA Arena every two years, it still bears watching given the new contours in undergarments that keep the interest of consumers – like myself
– always alive and in the mood for buying.
Bench Body endorser Mr. World Philippines 2014 John Spainhour helps boost the sales, for sure. But with the name of Michael Cinco attached to some of the inner wearables, there is an added premium. Except for that one with the winged unicorn emblazoned all over the front, I have all his pieces here. 😉
There's only so much you can do for underwears, but Bench Body always makes sure it keeps the trend fresh and exciting (Photo credit: Bruce Casanova)

Aged 23 and with looks that combine the best of Filipino, Japanese and Persian roots, Sam Ajdani is one of the country’s most sought-after commercial models, aside from being one of the lead male endorsers for Bench Body and Bench lifestyle+clothing
The 6’3″ hunk of a guy has actually been living in the Philippines for four years now, while pursuing tertiary studies at the University of the East. Constantly well-groomed and looking like he is always ready for a fashion/editorial photoshoot, his type can easily stand out in South-West England where Mr. World 2014 will take place. Will Sam Ajdani get the chance to be considered for the honor of representing us? Let’s wait and see. 😉
The Philippine Volcanoes in their new underwear ad for Bench Body
Their first underwear ads for Bench Body caused quite a controversial stir after the gigantic billboards (especially the ones at Guadalupe Bridge) were removed by MMDA Officials for provoking more than just the desire to buy a bikini/boxer brief or two. It did not dampen the team that recently topped the A5N (Asian Five Nations) Rugby Championships – the country’s first-ever win. As a result, Bench owner was inspired to schedule a new photoshoot for the boys. This time around, they were asked to wear more traditional – albeit less traditionally-designed – lower undergarments. And with a lot of black grease slapped on their muscular bodies at that.
Do you like the new concept? Well, I patronize Bench Body regardless so with or without this ad, it won’t matter. What I love, however, is the commitment of all the members to play for national pride despite majority of them being born and raised in other parts of the world. 😉

The now-famous (or infamous) billboards of the Philippine Volcanoes (courtesy of Bench Body) along EDSA-Guadalupe before they were removed.
I know that the controversial billboards along EDSA Guadalupe have already been taken down, along with many others. But in support of the Philippine Volcanoes Rugby Team, I’ve decided to post the video above which shows behind-the-scenes of the shoot. This is a bunch of cool, good-natured guys whose only main objective is to play good rugby for the country and rally for some support of the Philippine Rugby Football Union, especially for upcoming tournaments that they will be participating in.
If you like the Philippine Volcanoes (for whatever reason), you can give your support by buying the corresponding glossy calendar HERE or at the Bench Body stores.
