Parul for Almodal - a match made in red heaven
Leo Almodal himself
Leo Almodal is a fashion designer who is eternally inspired. And he always makes sure that his muses look heavenly beautiful in creations that will leave you in awe.
Take for example Bb. Pilipinas Tourism 2014 Parul Shah. She is a glorious vision in red here, with the gown making her look like a statuesque woman who could have made us proud in any international pageant here or overseas. Her look is simply divine.
Where will Parul show up next? In the Asian runways or possibly beyond? Let’s wait and see. 😉

From the back now, Parul sizzles!
Bb. Pilipinas Tourism 2014 Parul Shah looks like the beautiful apparition of a fallen angel in the photo above. Dressed in a white fantasy creation by Designer Rocky Gathercole and wearing a pair of red boot-like heels custom-made by Nere Ku, she embodies an out-of-the-box character who can very well be the representation of her under-utilized strengths as a Bb. Pilipinas titleholder – crowned but not fielded in competition.
Her breathless beauty notwithstanding, Parul has learned to take things as they come and go. While she could have been sent to any of those several permutations of Tourism-themed pageants abroad, BPCI is not about to compromise her image as a national titleholder by taking part in pageants that do not meet their strict standards.
Maybe it was meant to be. Or maybe something could have been done. Regardless, the reign is over. And life goes on.

Some of you may not be aware that Bb. Pilipinas Tourism 2014 Parul Shah has an equally beautiful younger sister who might – just might
– follow in her pageant footsteps. But not to be too presumptuous, I simply reckoned that Vijita Shah has started showing interest, albeit on a small scale at the moment.
The younger Shah is currently participating in Limgas na Pangasinan 2015 where she is the entry of San Nicolas. While this province-wide competition is not looking at sending its winner to any of the national beauty contests, the experience should give Vijita a taste of how it is to face up to crowds in public and be appreciated for her natural beauty and charm. Of course, the comparison to Parul can’t be helped. But if she eventually decides to turn serious with her efforts and go for the more demanding affairs in Metro Manila, then there’s no choice but to muster enough guts and confidence to live up to her older sister’s pageant fame.

A peek into her latest photoshoot
Now that Bb. Pilipinas Tourism 2014 Parul Shah has already turned over her crown to Ann Lorraine Colis, it’s high time to think about her next career move/s.
According to updates in her Facebook page, Parul has already started building up her portfolio for possible modeling projects that could possibly bring her outside the country and to other places in the region or beyond. She deserves to get her due recognition abroad, and if the route is by way of anything other than pageantry, then so be it.

For now, enjoy her latest photos.
Be prepared for what she may have in store for fans and followers in just a month or two.
With well-intentioned individuals guiding her along the way, I’m pretty sure she is in good hands and will get her due rewards with a little more patience and determination.
I’m looking forward to that. 😉
Parul, mysteriously now

During the past week and a half, rumors were abuzz online that Bb. Pilipinas Tourism 2014 Parul Shah will finally be sent to her own pageant mission via Reinado Internacional del Café 2015 scheduled to take place in Manizales, Colombia early next month. Blame it on a ‘doubtful’ posting
on Wikipedia that included her name as one of the confirmed participants.
So I immediately contacted someone in the know from BPCI about the whole thing. “It’s a hoax, Sir Norman!” There, loud and clear from one of the most reliable sources. Parul isn’t going to Colombia. Besides, the competition is way too soon (January 10, 2015) to even prep her up.
But what I really hear as more possible is that a new franchise or two might just be hatched in the next couple of months. And who knows? Lovely Parul could be fielded in one of them. 😉
Will Parul Shah start and end her reign without representing us overseas?
Will BPCI find a beauty competition for Laura Lehmann and Hannah Ruth Sison to join abroad?
The spotlight may not go their direction as often as they would want the attention lingering in their midst. Take for example Bb. Pilipinas Tourism 2014 Parul Shah. With the supposed affiliation of Miss Tourism Queen International with BPCI, she should have already prepared and left for China to take part in the former. But somehow, that prospect doesn’t seem to be shaping up in the immediate horizon (unless fresh developments in the last 24 hours will say otherwise). While there are countless other “Tourism” titles available, the organizers are careful in forging ties with just any foreign group with no impressive track record. It’s enough that MTQI is no longer giving out a prestigious vibe. I’m still keeping my fingers crossed for Parul, though.
And as runners-up, both Laura Lehmann and Hannah Ruth Sison could only hope for the best and pray that something more productive lands on their laps by way of a beauty contest fielding abroad. It could be a double-edged sword should something of the sort takes place, however. It will definitely prevent them from re-joining next year if a formal title is bestowed on their behalf. Just ask Elaine Kay Moll who was declared Miss Supranational Philippines in the middle of serving her 1st Runner-Up status back in 2012.
So how will the rest of their respective Binibini experiences unfold in the coming months ahead? Well, your guesses could just be as good as mine. 😉
