Bb. Pilipinas-Tourism 2011 Isabella Manjon during one of the activities of Miss Tourism Queen International 2011.
Isabella Manjon will be spending Christmas away from home. She is still in the middle of competitions for Miss Tourism Queen International 2011. If it’s any consolation, she will have around 100 new sisters to bond with while the whole world is celebrating December 25 in the conpany of loved ones. At any rate, it is still a contest and every single one of the candidates are out there to win. So how do we show Isabella our love?
Easy. Let us make her feel the warmth of our constant support by voting HERE.
The finals will not be until December 27, so let’s keep rooting for her victory! 🙂

Isabella Manjon: Bb. Pilipinas-Tourism 2011 and Miss Philippines in Miss Tourism Queen International 2011
2011 Bb. Pilipinas-Tourism Isabella Manjon has safely arrived in Xi’an, China. She joins more than a hundred candidates from all over the world vying for the Miss Tourism Queen International 2011. Our representative is in high spirits despite the cold weather and the prospects of spending Christmas (and possibly New Year if she wins or places high) away from her loved ones. Her main objective is to bring more honor to the country in the pageant arena, and add to the 2011 achievements of Shamcey Supsup, Gwendoline Ruais, Athena Mae Imperial and Dianne Necio.

Our bet will be leaving for Xi’an (via Beijing) early next week. And the girl is giving her 100% to place in MTQI, if not bring home the crown.
Let’s support Isabella! 🙂
Talks are ripe that 2011 Bb. Pilipinas-Tourism Isabella Manjon will represent the Philippines in the Miss Tourism Queen International 2011 to be held in Xi’an, China from December 13 to 29, 2012 with the world finals scheduled on December 27. Her Facebook Fan Page has already bannered the news with a confirmation that she is scheduled to leave for Beijing on December 12.
I really want to state the above as a fact. But until her face appears on the contestants’ page of the pageant, I will have to reserve my excitement. I so want this possibility to actually happen because the girl deserves to represent us internationally. Nonetheless, there is also this other group claiming that they are the local franchise holder of MTQI, aside from the common knowledge that Carousel Productions used to send the Philippine representative to the same.
So who to believe in? I choose to wait and see. If things go as planned and Isabella ends up donning the Philippine sash in China, then we can be optimistic because we should have an excellent chance of placing well in MTQI.
Stay stuck for more updates.
P.S. As of 2:30pm today, December 5, it has already been confirmed that Isabella Manjon will indeed be the Philippine bet to Miss Tourism Queen International 2011. Wonderful news! Let’s all support her! 😉

Isabella will make a beautiful and refreshing endorser of the Department of Tourism indeed!
When Isabella Catipunan Manjon
was crowned Bb. Pilipinas-Tourism 2011 last April 10, the country’s Departmen of Tourism (DOT) finally found itself a new face to promote Philippine tourism. And what a beautiful face indeed!
This is not the first time that a Bb. Pilipinas-Tourism crown was handed out by BPCI. It was revived this year to make up for the absence of the previous Bb. Pilipinas-World title that has already changed franchise-holders. And I sincerely hope that the organizers cooperate with DOT to the fullest so as they can maximize Isabella’s one year reign as the latter’s Ambassadress. I’m pretty confident she can parlay her beauty and winsome personality to attract more visitors to the country by way of attending international tourism and trade fairs locally and abroad. She will also make a very refreshing endorser should a new DOT print ad or TVC be released in the following months. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for that!
Now, should BPCI decide to appoint her as Philippine representative to one of the smaller beauty pageants in the region, then I can confidently state that Isabella will make waves and bring honor to the country. I’m keeping my fingers crossed again for such possibility!
Regardless, I am hoping that Isabella does not end being just a nominal beauty queen cutting ribbons here and there or making lame personal appearances in basketball games or (worse) cockfighting championships hosted by the Aranetas. Since there is no guaranteed international competition earmarked for her title, there has to be more interesting projects to make her reign more useful and memorable. 😉
