Rogelie wearing the hijab while training at Saudia
As what Miss Universe 2015 was recently quoted as saying, “There is life after pageants…
” And nobody can immediately prove this line more than her fellow Bb. Pilipinas 2015 titleholder Rogelie Catacutan who represented the country in Miss Supranational 2015 where she finished in the Top 20. After serving her 18-month contact with BPCI, she immediately pursued her job application with Saudia Airlines where she is currently in cabin crew training together with other Filipinas in Saudi Arabia.
Very soon, Rogelie will be sky-high as one of the Saudia Flight Attendants in blue (see photo of her uniform below) and traveling the world discovering new cultures and opening windows of opportunities in the process.
Best of luck in your new career, Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2015! 😉

Don’t forget to catch Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2015 Rogelie Catacutan in the delayed cable telecast of Miss Supranational 2015 on Star World tonight at 7:00PM! 😉
Winter has arrived in Poland for the Miss Supranational 2015 Candidates
Miss Philippines Rogelie Catacutan and the other delegates
By now, winter has arrived in Poland. And the candidates of Miss Supranational 2015 – especially the ones coming from tropical climes – are enjoying their first experience of snow like little kids out in the park seeing the cold white stuff falling from the sky.
Competition for the title will shift to high gear anytime soon. And Miss Philippines Rogelie Catacutan knows how important it is to make a good showing in the preliminaries to sustain the momentum started by the victory of Ann Colis and the respective placements of Parul Shah and Janicel Lubina. She has it covered. And our hope is that the judges will see in our bet the winning qualities that made her Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2015 in the first place.
Keep it up, Rogelie! 😉

This coming Sunday, November 15, Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2015 Rogelie Catacutan will finally board the flight that will bring her to Krynica Zdrój – host city of Miss Supranational 2015. For sure, she will be flying with Philippine Airlines that will have a connecting flight to Warsaw with another flag carrier via London.
Rogelie is filled with a mix of excitement and nervousness. But one thing that is certain would be her full commitment to give more than a personal best effort to shine in the competition and make us all proud. So far, we’ve had a #1 finish via Ann Colis in Miss Globe 2015, a 3rd Runner-Up rank via Parul Shah in Miss Grand International 2015 and a Top 10 placement for Janicel Lubina in Miss International 2015.
There is pressure, and a heavy one at that. But our Rogelie will face up to the challenge with the heart of a fighter and the beauty of a Queen. How can she go wrong?
You will shine in Krynica Zdrój, Rogelie! 😉
It was a 2-in-1 affair for Janicel Lubina and Rogelie Catacutan (Photo credit: Bruce Casanova for Bb. Pilipinas)
Janicel and Rogelie with Ann and Christi
It was a special 2-in-1 affair at the Gateway Mall earlier in the afternoon as the send-off for Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2015 Rogelie Catacutan and welcome back event for Bb. Pilipinas International 2015 Janicel Lubina took place with various members of the media covering the happy occasion.
Both Rogelie and Janicel were misty-eyed as they were given words of encouragement and approval from everyone. As we all know by now, the latter made it to the Top 10 of Miss International 2015 and was awarded Miss Best Dresser during the finals last November 5. On the other hand, our pretty Cebuana will be departing for Poland soon to start with her quest for the Miss Supranational 2015 crown and hopefully become the country’s 2nd big winner of the title.
From all of us here at normannorman.com, welcome back, Janicel! And to our dear Rogelie, may you have the best experience in Poland, while working hard to get the crown for the Philippines. Do us proud! 🙂

Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2015 Rogelie Catacutan is just waiting for her turn to compete in Poland for Miss Supranational 2015. And with time flying by so fast, it won’t be long till her scheduled send-off that should happen in the coming week.
This gorgeous Cebuana has upped the training mode of late. She has been busy preparing for the mission that could change her life even more. Being a national titleholder is already a big achievement, but if she plays her cards right and becomes successful in Miss Supranational 2015, then brighter things await. So far, the year has been promising for our bets. Adding another feather to the cap will definitely fuel the desire of the remaining representatives to do even better.
And oh, will Rogelie be wearing a Cary Santiago abroad? It all remains to be seen. But with the level of cooperation BPCI has been giving our Queens, I don’t see why not. 😉

I had the chance to speak with Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2015 Rogelie Catacutan during the send-off for her youngest sister Bb. Pilipinas International 2015 Janicel Lubina yesterday at Gateway Mall. Beneath the winsome smile and beautiful face, I could tell that she continues to be sad about the passing away of her dear friend and fellow Cebuana Miss Tourism International 2012 Rizzini Alexis Gomez. And I was right.
Rogelie was just in Cebu the other day, and she literally cried buckets of tears upon seeing the remains of Rizzini. She related that Designer Cary Santiago filled her wake with white roses everywhere, and how all his Cebu-based colleagues came in full force for the first night of vigil. She also intimated that Jonas Borces – their mentor – was extremely saddened by the demise but also accepting after seeing how tough Rizzini’s battle with lung cancer was for two long years.
I told Rogelie that she will now have a Guardian Angel once she competes for the Miss Supranational 2015 crown in Poland starting late next month. She immediately said that she will offer her pageant mission for Rizzini. And to that, I could only get teary-eyed. I gave her a quick hug after.
