Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2014 Yvethe Santiago walking the streets of Shinjuku in Tokyo
These days, Japan is fast taking over Hong Kong and Bangkok as the favorite Asian destination of Filipino travelers. Credit goes to the significantly relaxed granting of tourist visas of the Japanese Embassy.
And one of those who took advantage of visiting The Land of the Rising Sun during the Labor Day weekend was Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2014 Yvethe Marie Santiago who tagged along her first-ever best friend (her sister Ivy, actually) and fully enjoyed themselves in Tokyo. In particular, our 2014 Queen was in her happiest mood when time came to visit Tokyo Disney Resort.

By now, Yvethe must have already returned from the trip and looking forward to her next post-Bb. Pilipinas projects.
At least, Tokyo is now one item off her bucket list. 😉

Life is so much sweeter now that Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2014 Yvethe Marie Avisado Santiago has returned to normalcy in her beloved hometown of Daraga, Albay. She went out of her way to rekindle ties with old friends and former schoolmates, reunited with extended family members, actively participated with the Lenten activities and made sure that she endlessly bonded with her parents and sister.
For sure, there will still be responsibilities to fulfill for the remaining months of her contract with BPCI. But for now, Yvethe is enjoying the day-to-day existence of a beautiful Bicolana without the crown and gown for a change.
The girl really hasn’t changed. Not one bit. The pageant fame has not gone into her head. 😉

If you can’t win ’em, tour ’em,
And that is what Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2014 Yvethe Santiago. Instead of sulking about not placing high in Miss Supranational 2014, she decided not to waste the time and decided to visit parts of Poland that were not part of the pre-pageant itinerary.
Because Warsaw was deemed out of the way for the traveling coach tour during the competition, she opted to focus on the Polish capital and had a wonderful time touring the awe-inspiring city. Places like the Grand Palace, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and dropping by statue of Mały Powstaniec (the “Little Insurgent”) did not escape her post-pageant visits.
And before Yvethe boards the flight back home, she can at least say to herself that she toured the most of Poland. 😉
Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2014 Yvethe Marie Santiago will be arriving in Poland soon!
Let us support Yvethe Santiago all the way!
Yvethe will do everything in her power to claim a back-to-back in Miss Supranational 2014.
While everyone is busy looking at other pageants, Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2014 Yvethe Marie Santiago will quietly depart for Krynica-Zdrój, Poland in just a couple of winks to take on the challenge of winning a back-to-back crown for the country in Miss Supranational 2014. Her long haul flight will be tiring, but she should still arrive in the host city fresh and ready to do battle.
The candidates will be welcomed in the renowned Spa town starting today and will finally make their first appearances very soon.
And what advice did the reigning titleholder, Mutya Datul, give her for the entire duration of the beauty exercise? “She told me to just enjoy the moment, never get tired of smiling. Be lavish in your praises with the people at the pageant, but do it out of sincerity.”
Let’s keep supporting our Yvethe in the competition. 🙂

As ready as she could be, our Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2014 Yvethe Marie Santiago
Later in the afternoon at Balay in Araneta Center, Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2014 Yvethe Marie Santiago was feted to her own send-off to Miss Supranational 2014. She is scheduled to depart for Krynica-Zdrój, Poland later this week. In attendance during the event were five (5) of her fellow Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Queens (Bb. Pilipinas-International 2014 Bianca Guidotti is still in Tokyo for the finals of Miss International 2014 scheduled tomorrow afternoon) namely Miss Universe Philippines 2014 MJ Lastimosa, Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2014 Kris Tiffany Janson, Bb. Pilipinas Tourism 2014 Parul Shah, 1st Runner-Up Laura Lehmann and 2nd Runner-Up Hannah Ruth Sison. Of course, Madame Stella Marquez de Araneta and Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul – the reigning titleholder- need to be there and they graced the whole affair.

Yvethe was at her happiest and most emotional, especially with the messages given to her by the other Binibinis, Mutya Datul and her mom Nida. She knows that, just like Bianca Guidotti, her journey to the Miss Supranational 2014 crown will be challenging because of the dreamed-of back-to-back victory that is harder to earn. But being the positive person that she is, the enthusiasm and determination should help in achieving what others feel is an impossible feat.
A literal back-to-back between Mutya Datul and Yvethe Santiago. Will this be a prophetic photo?
Best of luck, dear Yvethe!
Step up to the plate. Bring it on. Do the Philippines proud. 🙂
Albay Governor Joey Salceda hosted a send-off for Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2014 Yvethe Santiago at Passion inside Resorts World Manila.

Just before BPCI comes up with its own Official Send-off for Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2014 Yvethe Marie Santiago for Miss Supranational 2014 in Poland, our Queen’s home province of Albay hosted its own right here in Manila.
Albay Governor Joey Salceda, together with Aces & Queens’ Gerry Diaz, were at the helm of the gathering which happened inside the uppity Passion Chinese Restaurant at Resorts World Manila. Present were members of the Albay Pageant Academy, together with some of their ladies plus a few personal friends of Yvethe.
There were endless wishes of good luck. And if our Queen achieves success in her objective of nailing a back-to-back victory for the Philippines, then all the more that her fellow kababayans from the Bicol Regional will make one grand celebration.
See you at your Balay Send-off, Yvethe! 😀
Yvethe with her mom before going live for A&A Tonight
Last night, Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2014 Yvethe Marie Santiago was interviewed on ABS-CBN’s Aquino & Abunda Tonight since her upcoming stint in Miss Supranational 2014 is just a little over two weeks away.
Sans co-host Kris Aquino, Boy Abunda and our Queen had a meatier one-on-one which lasted for practically five full minutes.
Watch the video of her guesting. Afterwards, I would appreciate getting your impressions on how Yvethe is registering now in your eyes. 😉
