Bb. Pilipinas International 2015 Janicel Lubina (seated, foreground) shares the cover of the June 2015 issue of Mega Magazine with actresses Lovi Poe, Sam Pinto and Alessandra de Rossi
If you would like to see Bb. Pilipinas International 2015 pitted against other morenas, or three local showbiz celebrities, then grab a copy of the June 2015 issue of Mega Magazine which is already out in your favorite newsstands, bookstores or supermarket checkout counters.
Our Janicel was photographed by Paolo Pineda, alongside actresses Lovi Poe, Sam Pinto and Alessandra de Rossi.
Makeups of the four (4) ladies were done by Gio Lazaro Flores (for Janicel), Albert Kurniawan (for Lovi), Winn Ramos (for Alessandra) and Paolo Maranan (for Sam Pinto)
The four morenas. Who is the prettiest?

While Bb. Pilipinas International 2015 Janicel Lubina draws a good number of oohs and aahs whenever new photos surface online, she also gets her share of less-than-pleasant comments from those who are still unconvinced by her beauty and all. Be that as it may, one things remains – she is a photographer’s delight. The girl knows how to do an assortment of poses for the camera and can actually give deliver delightful shots that will show how she has started to master the art of projecting herself click after click. She may appear catalogue-ish in some of them. But all in all, she is capable of giving her fans and supporters the kind of look and aura they expect from a beauty queen. 😉

And I’m really digging how our Queen J.Lu can shift her looks from one shot to another. There is a natural way by which she projects for the camera and feeds an assortment of aura and appeal. Just like in the image above, she resembles a more gorgeous version of actress Lovi Poe. Her smile refreshes. And those eyes, they pierce like arrows of love from Cupid.

The Cinderella comes home to her beloved Palawan and how.
Today was the Homecoming Parade of Bb. Pilipinas International 2015 Janicel Lubina in her home province of Palawan. Riding atop a huge float made by the Palaweños for her, she waved, smiled, flew kisses and acknowledged the cheers of all her kababayans with such heartfelt joy. Suddenly, there was traffic everywhere.
Despite her busy schedule ever since winning the title, she finally found the right time to fly back to Puerto Princesa with a team of handlers from Kagandahang Flores.
And the parade was a beautiful sight to behold, especially with the equally beautiful honoree.
Can we expect a second one like this come late November? 😉

I’m not sure how to react to Hong Kong Legislator Regina Ip’s racist comments against Filipina Domestic Helpers being home-wreckers after getting reports from expat wives that their husbands are being seduced by our hardworking female OFWs. I raised my eyebrows first, sneered afterwards, then a pregnant pause before unleashing sarcastic laughter. This is complete travesty, in my opinion.
Is she saying that our DH workers are so exotically beautiful that men just couldn’t resist them? It’s a double-edged thing, because the reckless finger-pointing to Filipina workers in particular is something that puts them in a bad light.
BPI2015 Janicel Lubina
I’m out for words. But maybe, just maybe, our Bb. Pilipinas-International 2015 Janicel Lubina – having worked as a househelp in the past
– can factor in the allegations above and maybe come to the defense of her fellow Filipinas who want nothing more than to earn enough money to send to their families back home.
And while we’re at it, why not include strains of the same in her eventual speech for Miss International 2015? She will definitely speak from the heart and make the overseas Filipino workers one of the essential components of her causes.
What are your thoughts, dear readers?
Our Bb. Pilipinas International 2015 Janicel Lubina was the subject of an article in Japan. Click above if you can read Japanese.

In a Japanese article
(from livedoor News and Xinhuaxia
) reported by the correspondent of Missosology
in Tokyo, our Bb. Pilipinas International 2015 Janicel Lubina was the subject matter where her humble beginnings were detailed, including the time when she worked as a househelp.
The said article was written in an entirely positive light (try clicking on the links and reading the same in Japanese if you are capable of doing so). And accordingly, Janicel’s life has been compared to a Cinderella story.
Miss International 2015 won’t be until November 5, and a lot of new developments can still happen between now and the time she finally competes in Tokyo. But it does help that our bet has already started getting noticed by the Japanese Press. A word of caution, though. We cannot read into this far deeper than what the introductory aim of the article suggests.
Let’s just be tickled pink for now. 😉
This is no April Fools’ Day joke, dear readers.
Today, April 1, marks the 20th Birthday of Bb. Pilipinas International 2015 Janicel Lubina.
From all of your friends here at normannorman.com and the readers who kept and who continue to keep the faith in your ability to bring home the country’s 6th Miss International crown later this year, we wish you a simple (this being Holy Wednesday ) but heartfelt celebration of a special day in your life.
Maligayang Kaarawan, Janicel! 😀

There is joy in Janicel's face
Newly-crowned Bb. Pilipinas International 2015 Janicel Lubina may not have gotten the crown she was initially aiming for, but for all its worth, she still left Araneta Coliseum last night a happy young Binibini. After all, only five (5) of the thirty-four candidates were honored with glittering victories. And taking home the 2nd highest title shouldn’t be taken lightly.
Truth of the matter is that, whatever transpired during the judges’ deliberations is now moot and academic. The decision can no longer be undone. One doesn’t pray for time to go back and re-do all the steps that could’ve made that small difference to effect the preferred change. Instead, destiny should be accepted as is.
The best thing to do at this point is look forward to the higher level of training in store for her. There is a burden of responsibility on Janicel’s shoulders from hereon now. And it is something that goes beyond camp affiliations. The reign is already for flag and country.
The sooner the results settle in, the better. And we trust that all the 2015 Queens will take their brand-new ‘job’ with unbridled enthusiasm and unstinting commitment. 🙂
