Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago bonds with the kids during her Masbate homecoming
A simpler float and parade this time around
It is interesting to note that – compared to her first grand homecoming as Bb. Pilipinas International 2013 – the return to the same province as Miss International 2013 was a far more simple and funfare-minimized affair. And I can certainly add that Bea Rose Santiago must have felt more sincerity among the Masbatenos
this time around as the love and attention they showered had a more personalized feel to it. Her physical accessibility added a dash of delight to the welcoming locals. Let’s not connect any kind of old controversy anymore. The important thing is that she never forgot to give thanks to her kababayans
for the genuine pride and support.
Thumbs up to you, Bea Rose! 😀
The then still-untitled Bea Rose Santiago enjoying Manukan Island in Malaysia.
Before Bea Rose Santiago became Bb. Pilipinas International 2013 and Miss International 2013, she was just your much-better-than-normal tall beautiful girl who enjoys taking out-of-town trips with her friends and relatives. In the video below, she was ‘accidentally’ filmed by her companions while in Malaysia’s Manukan Island (as part of their Kota Kinabalu sojourn last 2012) with the following description:
“… we went to manukan island malaysia and accidentally took a video out of all the pictures we took. amazing! were noobs with our new camera.”

Have you started wrapping your Christmas presents for loved ones?
Thankfully, I’m done with mine. 😉
Bea touring Tokyo with the other delegates
Above are some of the first photos taken of Bb. Pilipinas-International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago with the other candidates of Miss International 2013. It seems that she is off to a good start by doing some light bonding with as many ladies as she can.
Let’s see how things will shape up in the next few days when she will have already formed a clique with the ones she has good chemistry with. 😉

Bb. Pilipinas International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago safely arrived in Tokyo, Japan earlier tonight for Miss International 2013.
Let us all wish her the best of luck in the pursuit of the country’s 5th crown in the pageant.
As she herself mentioned in an interview during the send-off, “I want to end the year with a slam!”
I say, “Slam the competition, girl!” 🙂

Finally, her moment has come.
In the Official Send-Off hosted by BPCI for Bb. Pilipinas International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago at the Gateway, our bet was definitely full of joy and positive energy. She has prepared long and hard for this. Her stay in Tokyo may be for just a little over ten days but she has poured all her time and effort to making sure that she sticks to her gameplan.

Her fellow Binibini sisters were around for moral support. And given the track record established by Mutya Datul and Ariella Arida, she is not about to let her mission go pfft. She is confident of doing well in the pageant and promises to give her 110% every step of the way.

Best of luck, Bea Rose Santiago! 🙂
If not, then watch Bb. Pilipinas International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago during her guesting with Boy Abunda on Bandila. And aside from the walk that took all of three seconds in the whole vid, try to assess her conversational skills now.

Okay, now. What are your thoughts about it? 😉
Tokyo, here Bea Rose comes!
Bea's send-off later in the day
In just a couple of days from now, the pride of Kagandahang Flores for 2013 – Bb. Pilipinas-International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago – will be leaving for Tokyo, Japan to fulfill her mission with a target of bringing back the country’s 5th Miss International crown.
We all know by now that the roster of candidates for this year’s edition is a tough one. But just like a sporting event, the ball is round and it’s always anybody’s game. Miss International, in particular, has been one unpredictable in terms of choosing the winner. Sure, they go for gorgeous faces most of the time. However, there were years when the final choices surprised everyone, like 1990’s Silvia de Esteban or 1989’s Iris Klein who floored the top favorites.
Let us be united in supporting Bea Rose. She will take care of the last major beauty hurrah for 2013. Let’s pick it up by way of throwing in encouraging cheers and statements in her Facebook page or via Twitter @bearose21
Best of luck, dear! 😉
