Miss Eco Philippines 2017 Cynthia Thomalla was given her send-off to Miss Exo International 2018 at the Full Belly Craft Kitchen in Quezon City. Her Miss World Philippines Organization family – headed by National Director Arnold Vegafria and General Manager Bessie Besana – were present along with Laura Lehmann, Teresita Ssen Marquez, Sophia Senoron and Glyssa Perez.
Cynthia will leave for Cairo, Egypt soon and will endeavour to win the crown come April 26 so that she can add up to the #1 finishes of Teresita in Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 and Sophia in Miss Multinational.

Here’s a brand-new victory for the Filipina in the international pageant stage. Miss Philippines Sophia Senoron was crowned the inaugural edition of Miss Multinational 2017/2018 during the finals of the pageant held at the Kingdom of Dreams in Gurugram, India. She defeated twelve other contenders for the title. First runner-up is Miss Germany, Saskia Kuban and 2nd Runner-up is Miss India, Shefali Sharma.
National Pageant Director Arnold Vegafria went to the host country to personally witness another achievement for the Philippines after he also flew to Bolivia for last Reina Hispanoamericana won by another one of his titleholders, Teresita Marquez.

Earlier at the Full Belly Craft Kitchen in Quezon City, Miss Multinational Philippines 2017 Sophia Senoron was given her official send-off to Multinational 2017/2018 which will be held in New Delhi, India this month. Present were National Director Arnold Vegafria, Miss World Philippines Laura Lehmann, Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Teresita Marquez, Miss Eco Philippines Cynthia Thomalla and 1st Runner-Up Glyssa Perez.

In less than 24 hours from now, Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 (check out the crown made by Tauro above
) will be crowned in Sta. Cruz, Bolivia. Final rehearsals are in full swing. And support is coming in for all the ladies. In fact, Philippine National Director Arnold Vegafria (see bottom photo
) is already in Sta. Cruz to give moral support to Miss Filipinas Teresita Marquez.
All that is left to do is wait for the final results to be handed out.

During the just concluded Miss World Philippines 2017 Charity and Gala Night, the new crown has been finally shown to the attending guests with Miss World 2013 Megan Young along with Hillarie Parungao, Valerie Weigmann, Queenie Rehman, Arnold Vegafria and Bessie Besana.
According to its creator – Designer Manny Halasan – “it is made of pure silver coated with white gold. The stones are signity, blue sapphires and real pearls.” It was also designed in collaboration with Megan Young herself.

Earlier in the day, the thirty-five (35) Official Candidates of Miss World Philippines 2017 were presented to the media at both the Ballroom 2 and poolside of New World Hotel in Makati City. The beautiful comers jockeyed up for positions in the eyes of the press to get the important attention to ve interviewed and featured in their respective PRs.
Miss World Philippines 2016 Catriona Gray added the extra glitter to the event, along with National Director Arnold Vegafria and GM Bessie Besana.

But a few more of the ladies also drew a lot of supporters from the audience such as Zara Carbonell (daughter of actor Cris Villanueva), Glyssa Perez (Miss Bohol 2016) and Noelle Uy-Tuazon (the Forensic Anthropologist from the US who is now representing Davao).
Aside from Miss World Philippines who will represent the country in Miss World 2017, three (3) other titles will be given away: Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas, Miss Multinational Philippines and Miss Eco Philippines.
Finals will be on September 3 at the MOA Arena with a slightly delayed telecast over GMA-7.
