Mutya Pilipinas has a new crown added to their titles at stake in 2019, with World Top Model Philippines as the latest. What makes this honor unique – coinciding with the acquisition of the franchise – is the newly-forged partnership with Professional Models Association of the Philippines (PMAP) who will help in training and preparing the first winner of Mutya Pilipinas- World Top Model Philippines for her international competition that will happen in Monte Carlo (in the Principality of Monaco) this coming December 14, 2019. Its inclusion has also transformed the national pageant into a hybrid competition as it welcomes aspiring models who wish to embark on a serious modeling career internationally.
Present during the contract signing are Mutya Pilipinas Chairman Fred Yuson, Mutya Pilipinas President Cory Quirino and PMAP President Anna Siddeco.
Effectively, Mutya Pilipinas 2019 (which is being re-branded without the “ng”) will have its four winners sent to Miss Asia-Pacific International, Miss Tourism International, Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International and World Top Model. The Mutya Pilipinas Overseas Communities and two runners-up will complete the honors that this year’s anticipated 40 Official Candidates will vie for.
Chairman Fred Yuson said that, “These are exciting times for Mutya Pilipinas so you can expect more positive changes in the future as it evolves.”
Watch out for the much-awaited 2019 edition of Mutya Pilipinas which will have its national finals at the MOA Arena on August 18.
