Cameroon is one of only four African countries represented in the upcoming edition of Miss Universe. And Angèle Kossinda is hoping that she would be a clear standout in her continental grouping.
You might be surprised to know that this Finance Master produces and acts in a TV comedy series available on YouTube. She has also traveled to ten different countries, including the Philippines.
Miss Kossinda comes from a tribe where girls are forced into marriage as early as the age of 12. She believes that offering them free education can create a generation of empowered and confident individuals without relying on arranged marriages.
If she can inspire Cameroonians, then why not the Universe?
