With the US Presidential Elections now over (and with Joe Biden as President-Elect), the focus will shift temporarily to the finals of Miss USA 2020 on Monday, November 9 (Tuesday morning around 10am here in Manila) live from Elvis Presley’s Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee.
Here is my Top 10 Selection for the crown:
#NewYork Andreia Gibau
#Idaho Kim Layne
#NewHampshire Alyssa Fernandes
#California Allyshia Gupta
#Georgia Alyssa Beasley
#NorthCarolina Jane Axhoj
#NorthDakota Macy Christianson
#NewJersey Gina Mellish
#Indiana Alexis Lete
#Tennessee Justice Enlow
Let’s see if Idaho (who holds a dual citizenship with the Philippines) can turn the heat up even more and become the successor of Cheslie Kryst.
Meanwhile, in what could be one of the most teen-worthy winning reactions ever, Ki’ilani Arruda of Hawaii was crowned Miss Teen USA 2020. She was literally jumping for joy after hearing her name called as the successor of Kaleigh Garris.
Her court includes Oregon, Georgia, Nebraska and Louisiana, in that order.
Congratulations!
