Kudos to the APs and glam teams of the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 candidates for coming up with exciting new photoshoots of the #phenomenalwomen! Loving the surprises they give me everytime I check on my news feed.
Below are samples of shots from their latest pictorials.
When majority of the “Beyond the Coastlines” videos of the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 candidates were uploaded at the beginning of the quarantine period and during, there were still some whose outputs did not make it on time for the scheduled editing and posting.
With the postponement of Miss Universe Philippines 2020 to October, candidate Adelma Krissel Benicta of Ilocos Sur has returned to work and continues to render service to her fellowmen. After all, she is a Registered Nurse – an automatic frontliner at that.
For Adel, Health & Well-Being is something she would like people to be aware of and be more conscious about. This thrust is something close to her heart because of her profession.
“I’ve witnessed how families, especially the poor & marginalized, tend to compromise their health for the sake of providing the needs for survival. I realized how neglect, misinformation & lack of access to and knowledge of our health care delivery system is a huge part of the problem on healthcare. And this is why I want to be on the frontline in terms of spearheading literacy towards the same and well being which is one of the sustainable development goals that’s actually central as it encompasses all the other SDGs.
“I believe that when people become more keen on maintaining good health & well being, we can all be great parts of the solution and contributors to a more sustainable world.”
Best of luck in the competition, Adel! And may Ilocos Sur find a long-term ally in you even during the years well beyond the pageant itself.
Once more, since Adel’s “Beyond the Coastlines” video has not yet been uploaded due to the filming restrictions of COVID19, I am sharing this clip of Ilocos Sur during Miss Millennial Philippines 2019 so you can see her in action.
Hi! Norman here. When I'm not working, I spend most of my free time planning on daily blogs. If you will notice, I always make sure that a fresh topic comes out everyday - not an easy thing to do but it's all good. Thanks for dropping by and enjoy the visit!
