A new year has landed. And with it, a new book in the annals of modern pageant history begins. It all starts this coming week with the official arrival of the delegates for the 71st Miss Universe in New Orleans, Louisiana. But before we even dive into the excitement it brings, let us do a little something off-the-grid and focus on you, my dear readers.
I have no qualms about the fact that I am probably one of the oldest – if not the oldest – active pageant blogger out there. I have already earned a reputation of sorts from younger media colleagues that the engagements in this site cradle an older demographic. I’m happy with that. And so, let me just thank every single one of you who continue to motivate me – even if my “apparitions” are not as frequent during discussions. Health-wise, I’ve seen (much) better years. So you might want to consider sharing even a wee bit of your blessings to help in the upkeep/maintenance of this blog. You can course it through Paypal at normantinio@gmail.com or GCash via 09175350500. At the very least, clicking on the ads in this site will be appreciated.
Manigong Bagong Taon sa inyong lahat!
