Congratulations to all the winners!
Ano kaya magkaroon din ng international contest ang Miss Air, Miss Water at Miss Fire?
Ang Miss Air gaganapin sa himpapawid, yung Miss Water syempre sa dagat… ang Miss Fire saan ??? 😀😃😄
Congratulations to the winners. Aldua could be our 5th Miss Earth. Reilly could crossover or could join MPE again. Reilly has the potential.
I don’t mind Yllana being compared to Catriona. They are both determined, focused, and well-rounded candidates who took full control of their respective games. These are the women who win! Congratulations!
What do you think people in the future would say about your generation?
Miss Earth Siniloan Ylanna Marie Aduana – I would definitely say our generation although miscontrued us very ardent. I would have to say that we use our voice for a reason and that is to always speak up for the things that we know are right and for the things we know we deserve that is why we are very ardent about it and that’s why I conducting colloquiums on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and their interconnectedness to nature in hopes to precipitates people’s eco consciousness because our future is the linebackers and the pioneers of environmental amelioration and we should always take advantage of it at all costs.
Honestly in my humble opinion this is too much to understand. I wish she use a simple words where everybody can understand. Good luck Miss Earth Philippines 2023!
She answered: “I would definitely say that our generation, although misconstrued as very ardent, I would have to say that we use our voices for a reason and that is to always speak up for the things that we know are right and for the things that we know we deserve. That is why we are very ardent about it. That is why I’m also conducting colloquiums on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and their interconnectedness to nature in hopes to precipitate people’s eco-consciousness because our future is the linebackers and the pioneers of environmental amelioration, and we should always take advantage of it at all costs.”
Prior, in the top 10 hashtag question-and-answer portion, Aduana picked the word “safety” and expounded on food and water security.
“Safety plays a very salient role in our lives. We have to always be secured, not only safe but also in terms of water security, and food security because as Miss Philippines Earth, I know that I am a hardworking person and I can always incorporate this in order for us to achieve safety at all costs and protect Mother Earth the way she protects us all with all safety,” she said.
I didn’t like Yllana from BBP days pa lang because although she is academically gifted, she tries too hard to sound intellectual. The most bashed MPE, Karen Ibasco, also used big words in her Q&A, but they flowed freely and did not sound rehearsed or canned or pilit to impress. Yllana didn’t need to prove anything, she’s smart, we know that, big words were absolutely unnecessary. Genuine answers with wit and wisdom sana when she competes internationally.
Yllana, though no fault of her own, keeps getting compared to Catriona. Cat is a natural, no rehearsed or memorized canned answers from her. Nonetheless, gotta give props to Yllana. She left no stone unturned, like Catriona in her MU fight. Sana ganito lagi – perfect body, perfect skin, perfect posture, perfect wardrobe, perfect hair and makeup, perfect presentation. Let’s demand this level of preparation from MUPh.
Kerry Reilly resembles previous MW winners, especially Manushi Chillar. She has the personality and the dancing skills too. Imagine if Yllana’s team trains her, we might finally get that elusive blue crown.
Cat sounded “unrehearsed” because ENGLISH is obviously her first language duhhh
okay yllana
