It doesn’t happen all the time that three of our biggest national pageants run alongside each other simultaneously. And the month of April will have their much-awaited Press Presentations happening in close intervals.
First, Miss Philippines Earth 2023 will have its turn on April 3 (Monday) at the Lime Hotel and Resort in Pasay City.
Next up will be Miss Universe Philippines 2023 that will formally introduce the candidates to the public via their own Press Presentation after Holy Week – or on April 11 if plans don’t change at the last minute.
Finally, Binibining Pilipinas 2023 comes in third with theirs on April 28. This event usually takes place at the Novotel Manila Araneta City. And I don’t see the venue changing for this edition.
It will be an uber busy month for pageant lovers and pageant media like us!

1st place: MUP -blame it on Jonas/Voltaire/Celeste or even with the mother queen, Anne Bondad – still the most controversial local pageant for whatever reason/s that you can think off. Even w/o the KPOP factor for its coronation night, it is expected that this will generate the most views/clicks/bashings. Hello?!!!! this is a miss universe country remember?
2nd place is Miss Earth – obviously one of the most competitive batches ever not only for miss Earth but with the other local pageants as well. the press presentation of miss earth will never be complete w/o its placards and the darling of the press special awards- the most unique of them all.

3rd place: Bb. Pilipinas… its a snooze fest . zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz – we already have MIP 2023: Borromeo right? who would be interested with ms. gumabao’s title in 2018, w/ 40 candidates and the only title for 2023 left for this once the most prestigious pageant in the Milky Way is Miss Globe Philippines?! oh my gad… (Janina San Miguel peg) Miss Grand Philippines would even be a stiff competitor of MUP in terms of interest and the buzz that it can generate, but Bb Pilipinas 2023, hello?????
