  1. Is it the camera angle? Or … malaki lang talaga ang Brazo de Mercedez ?

  2. Binibining Pilipinas should dissociate itself from anything that is so Miss Universe-ish or MGI-ish. Ibalik dapat ang numbers ng candidates alisin ang sash ng place of origin, wala ng MU sa kanila na nag impose na magkaroon ng unique branding ang MUP(this regional/provincial sash).

The selection process should be aligned with Miss International. Drop the pa-fierce-fierce look; at mga binaklang rampahan at accesories sa swimsuit round. Focus on charitable (beauty w/ purpose) activities-BPCI is to begin w/ a charitable institution in the first place. Get away with too carnival-ish costumes and evening gowns. Instead of highlighting the accomplishment of former Miss Universe and MGI winners/placers, allow former Filipina Miss international winners and placers to be more visible.

This may become a boring pageant but this is the only way to become unique and separate from other pageants. Kung nagagawa ng Miss Earth na maiba sa Miss Universe at Miss World in terms of its pre-pageant activities bakit di kayang gawin ng BPCI. Mas Pinag uusapan pa nga ngayon ang Miss Earth Philippines at Miss Grand Philippines compared sa MUP & MWP. Pero ang Bb. Pilipinas, halos langawin na ang mga threads dahil Miss Globe at Miss International na lang ang natitirang titles up for grabs.

  3. I am glad that Bb. Pilipinas 2023 candidates will wear a new brand of pageant shoes. I think it is more class and affordable but expensive looking than the other shoes that is being use in another beauty pageant. It is wise decision that BPCI doesn’t want to associate with brands that has been using by MUP and MUO.
