  3. Wow.. Kali Navea-Huff, an Athlete, UP Diliman Grad and FEU Law student…
    She’s pretty… but she hasn’t nailed the glamour part yet… With some hair extensions… Passarella training and top of the line H&MU training.. She has the potential to become a top contender for the crown.

  8. The current MUP is in a pickle. Quality girls (we call them total packages) who are astute do not want to get into the loop yet while the local organization is still in the process of “recalibrating” (taking Shamcey’s very words) after Celeste’s non-placement. While the waters are still being tested, many potentially high-performing ladies will probably sit this one out. With that in mind, the MUP is virtually back to square one so I expect this year to be another lackluster mushroom-picking one (unless one exceptional “it” girl “magically” applies which is really all we need).

    I hope the local organization won’t remain laggard and won’t keep spiraling downward (eventually losing much of its revenue streams) or we may see another prospective entity (local or international) with a better business proposition grabbing the Philippine franchise later on. The JKN Global Group has opened the floodgates to that possibility. As a fan, I like to be kept excited so I personally wouldn’t mind changing the local guards and investors for as long as the Philippine sash stays competitive at the international stage. After all, it’s our “Beauty Superbowl” of sorts and the incessant noise of the Filipino fans has provided “free” on-line global marketing campaigns that the MU direly needed over the years. MU would certainly not want to experience the cold shoulder treatment we gave to MGI. Just sharing my thoughts.

  11. Nothing personal against Panlilio, but its a big NO! Her performance in MGI is so funny. Parang lasing na rumarampa. No no please

    • Her walk can be trained. MGI is known for having over the top performance that’s why her walk will not be good if she competes in Miss Universe.

      • still a No. just because mayaman sya she can get all she wants. pageantry is not for her. marami naman syang options. para syang lasing na sabog na tuyot na rumarampa dati. sorry not sorry.

    • Or na-turn off lumaban sa MUP kasi alam nila na hindi sila mananalo dahil gusto ni mama jonas yung nacocontrol niya ang kandidata

      • Truth naman.. We are hoping na sana by 2024 iba na ang french fries owner ng MUP………NO more mama CHONA and Walk out girl Supsup na sobrang deny na di nagwalkout, despite madaming Pinoy na nasa event.

    • I disagree kasi malalakas ang dating ng mga candidates ng BBP compared sa 1st batch na ito for MUP. Yung mga MU-caliber ayaw sumali sa MUP, how sad
