  1. Norman Norman.com and Missosology have the same predictions… believe me inside info c/o Voltaire

    • Eh kung naaksidenteng natisud o nadapa si Celeste, ganyan pa rin ba ang kakahantungan? Huwag basta basta maghusga.

  2. I absolutely agree with Norman’s top 3: Michelle Dee, Pauline Amelinckx and Celeste Cortesi.

These are three outstanding candidates — all beautiful, smart in their own way, and each has something unique that makes each one very competitive — any one of whom can hold their own at Miss Universe and continue the Philippines’ placement streak.

My preferences aside, and if all three were considered “equal”, it just might boil down to who gives the best performance on pageant night. I don’t expect any one of them to disappoint as all three of them come very prepared. In any case, I would be happy with any of the three winning the title.

But here’s my personal choice: MICHELLE DEE

Michelle has all the physical attributes, she’s smart and articulate, a Miss World top 12 semifinalist, an experienced public speaker and media personality, an LGBTQIA+ advocate, and her advocacy for mental health awareness and autism awareness out of her personal experience of growing up with siblings diagnosed with autism, and her work with the Autism Society of the Philippines speaks volumes and ticks all the boxes for me. She has also worked with foundations supporting children with special needs and developmental disabilities. Michelle already has a solid foundation for these substantive and concrete advocacies that she can continue to build on leading up to the Miss Universe pageant later this year. These are inclusive advocacies that the Miss Universe Organization would support and are aligned with.

But whoever wins the title, she will have my support!

Good luck to all the candidates!

    • If all candidates bring their A++ game on finals night , then these three will be the last three standing , and anyone among these three who scores A+.9 instead of an A+++ on the final Q&A , will be kissing the eventual winner who will represent Pinas at MU2022 and continue the streak at MU hist.!

      • Right. The final Q&A could be the determining factor once the dust settles. My personal preferences aside, of the three, Pauline is the most impactful speaker and could ace the Q&A. Pauline draws you in when she speaks — that is her greatest strength.

      • yes she is a natural as a TV host or presenter … nice to look at and nice to listen to with that ‘host voice’ , a possible perennial host at future MUP pageants ,,, but over all , counting swim and gown and physicality , stage presence , pasarela walk , projection , standout xfactor , and also choice of gown is very important … I will still have to go with MMDee !

  3. LOL I respect the blogger’s (wrong) prediction. No way in hell would Jonas’ group crown someone:
    * Who is not from the A&Q camp;
    * Struggles with English and does not speak any Filipino language;
    * Who can’t be spontaneous in front of a live audience; and worse
    * Has zero Filipina-ness in her. The girl refuses to even learn our culture! And she’s been here for 5 years!

Imagine the headlines if she wins – Italian Raised Model Who Refuses to Integrate Into Filipino Mass, Wins Miss Universe Philippines Sash

    Que Horor

  4. Rooting for Chantal . As a pageant newbie and the youngest in the batch, she blew me away with her impressive comm skills, relatability , hourglass figure , not to mention her above par academic credentials. I was there on prelims night and my eyes went straight to her in that black Jessica rabbit dress. She and Celeste also have the best bodies in this edition. Rounding off my top 3 would be Pauline and Julia.

    • She is young. She can return in two or three years to present a better version of herself.

  5. I hope MUPH will keep its tradition of crowning an unexpected/underdog winner.

  6. Pasay or Makati lang, the rest mga potential clappers na for Miss Universe. MU wont need a great speaker with mediocre beauty, knowing that Telemundo will be involved here

  7. If they choose Celeste ( whom I love ) , I think the MUPorg will feel like they are taking a gamble because of her Q&A nerves , possible to clam up and speak her mind either incoherently or by recalled script inauthentically… She will kill in the swim and gown but I think MUPorg will go with a safe choice , can control nervousness because of her acting background … Michelle Marquez Dee !

      • yes I did in a rather intimate setting , but it is different with a worldwide [ universe-wide rather 🙂 ] audience or stage … when she competed at Miss Earth , that was also kind of local (mostly Pinas audience) … in contrast , Dee competed at MW , a bigger telecast audience than MU , and she has TV-Movie experience where emotions are taught and kept in control … it would be more her element…

    • Celeste was calmer, more composed, more coherent than Michelle!

That, I can tell for sure.

      OMG.

      • Stop saying that you like her only to discredit her with your lies!

What’s up with the Boomers in this world?!

      • those are not lies … those are my personal opinions

        & ageism is wrong … I am not a boomer , I am GenX

      • You were lying and you know it.

I could see through your subliminal smears. You did that to Bea last year.

I don’t care what your age is, I will call you out!

  8. ang dapat manalo
    eh kamukha ni Bunny Paras
para back to back mga Sharmaine Arnaiz fez
    sa MU stage

  9. Just noticed that as we get closer to the coronation night, more commenters are participating in on this blog… they’re more engaging! But whoever wins tonight, it’s a tall order for her to keep the semifinalist streak alive. I hope either Pasay (beautiful but with attitude) or Albay (a good speaker, what MU is looking for) will continue this and eventually wins our 5th MU crown.

    • Oh my, to be honest if Julia makes a surprise performance in EG and SS and makes it to the Top 5, even though she doesn’t win I will be over the mooooon!!! ♥️

      • If by divine intervention Julia lands in the top five, then all bets are off.

  10. I’m excited If ever Sa latin America ihohold ang pageant. With the exemption of Shamcey (pero Portuguese naman kasi Brazil) I’m excited if a Filipina candidate would fare good sa Isang Spanish latin country ( ex. Peru, Dominican Republic) we all know they have different taste of beauty there. Maraming clapper na miss Philippines in the past in Latin America in miss universe.

    • Maybe they want Celeste to rep the Philippines and make top 5
So next yr Isabella Ysmael can become our 5th Miss Universe

  11. It looks like Cat will be joining the night’s festivities … if in addition she will be one of the judges tonight , then I believe that she will vote for Michelle , a former co-Miss World alumna for the MUP22 crown !

    • Haha no. A former Aces & Queens artista alaga like the one they “asked” her to sit down patiently for back in 2018.

      Lolz no.

Na pressure lang ang MUP & MU 2018 to look united.

Catriona probably forgives, but never forgets… ask Bragais

      • Hey, if you are to spill the tea, make it clear and detailed, please! Lol

        I don’t know these stories.

  12. I concur Celeste is the most gorgeous of them all. Kailangan lang i train sa public speaking at question and answer portion.

  13. As in the past, I support whoever the distinguished Selection Panel bestows the title. But from the strategic business point of view, is MUP ready to dilute its “Phenomenal Woman” brand imagewith either “Earth Warrior” or “Fresh Filipinas for the World” brands?

    • Even if these outstanding crossover queens present an improved personal rebranding for MUP, from the vantage view of brand building, the now-frontrunners cannot dissociate themselves from the brand essence of their previous titles. Knowing the business development orientation of the people behind MUP, my hunch is that they will favor a judges’ choice of a truly Uniquely Beautiful Phenomenal Woman that follows the most pragmatic route to brand equity development.

    • In brand development, marketing specialists do not normally employ an image model who used to be the face of a rival brand. MUP is in a brand-building mode. That is how I explain the choice of its previous titlists over the overhyped crossover queens. Will it be different this time?

  14. As with previous editions of MUPh, public speaking skills seems to be the final determinant for the eventual winner. Case in point, Rabiyas’ impactful answer gave her the edge over those highly favored candidates. And with the current Miss Universe public speaking ability practically edging the uber gorgeous Miss Paraguay, it would be highly unlikely the final night judges will deviate from the current template.

In this batch of candidates, it is understandable why there’s a clamor for Pauline. With blocked screen and simply listening to the audio of Pauline’s responses to Voltaire’s questions, without a doubt, this girl has biggest chance of wearing the coveted crown.

Sure, I’ll not be surprised if Celeste, Michelle making it to the final group. But with public speaking skill and Pauline part of the equation, I highly doubt the result with have any of those two girls getting the top spot. Unless Pauline will have that anecdotal “major, major” blunder. Pauline’s only formidable competitor in this aspect is Julia. But gauging on the comments on this blog, it would be a “Hail-Mary pass” for Julia landing on the final group.

Speaking of the final group, with her exquisite execution during the SS and EG and oozing exotic sex appeal, I’ll not be surprised again if Miss Palawan is part of it. I believe had she opted to answer in her “native language” Voltaire’s questions, her interview performance might have been a different story.

    • I subscribe to the justifications you’ve uttered about Pauline. Spot on, dear.

      That’s all.

  15. I concur!

I believe in second chance! Celeste did improve a lot!

Napagnilay-nilay na niya seguro yung mistake niya sa Miss Earth!

Kung siya man manalo, wish ko pa rin yung first 2nd runner up finish from MU! Masaya na ko dun!

Ka-batch ‘to ni Valeria na naka-Top5 last year!

Analysis ng mga pageant Admin sa IG is either Colombia or Philippines ang mananalo based on trend ng mga runners up in the past year!

  16. I am still awed that Harnazz MU2021 was a judge for the prelims ( not the finals but the prelims ) of the MUP2022 … I hope she saw the night’s brightest star on stage !

    • I hope so, too!

Super stoked to see the beautiful reunion of Pia, Catriona, Demi and Iris and Catriona and Pia meeting Harnaaz. Mama Esther got emotional 🙂

I must say, the previous queens still have that winning aura. Celeste has this glow.

However, if Celeste doesn’t bag the crown, the new queen will have my support.

  17. Even though Celeste’s voice had hints of nervousness in the interview it just made her more charming. And then that swimsuit and evening gown performance. I can see her placing easily at MU, so I hope she wins MUP.

  18. If MUP will crown another dark horse,
I’d place my bet on Chantal.

If she gives a genuine and convincing answer,
then my first choice Pauline will have to settle for the runner up.

  19. It’s time to enjoy the MUP festivities. Whoever is crowned, my pick or not, will have my full support.

  20. Paula Shugart recently was in Dominican Republic. Talks of hosting the pageant. Some say Puerto Rico might be too. Do not expect guys to win on that Territories. They favor the modelesque type there. All of the women crowned in Latin America are glamazons, Riyo Mori (2007) Amelia Vega (2003) Fedorova (2002) Quinones (2001) Hawkins (2004)

    • Why the disagree ? It’s true. Even in the 70s and 80s women crowned in Latin America are either tall or BLONDE. 😂 That’s a fact in history.

      • Yung chaka at borta kasi bet nila manalo kaya disgaree sila dyan wkwkwkw, this is not just a kudaan pageant. This is also a battle between physical beauty and pasarela which their bet lacks

  21. I would like to dissent with Tito Norms winner prediction. We must give the crown to the homegrown candidate (regardsless if she has foreign blood).

    • I don’t see why foreign-born/raised girls should be discriminated against. If they’re dual citizens then they have every right to go toe to toe with local candidates.

  22. As much as I would like to concur with Tito Norm’s anointed one, my gut feeling tells me it will not be a crossover queen from a rival pageant.

I also mentioned this last year days before Bea stole the thunder from Katrina and the other frontrunners.

I hope I am wrong on this.

    • @Cool Brew, as I mentioned in my earlier comment, one of the questions the Selection Panel has to grapple with is: Is MUP ready to crown a former titlist of rival MWP, MEP or MP-RHA? What optics will that create for an organization that is trying to build a distinct brand imagery, let alone assert its brand superiority? It’s like using the image model of Pepsi to endorse Coke– which is never done in marketing.

      • @scorg – What about Catriona Gray? Wasn’t Catriona a former MWP titlist?

      • @Casper, Catriona won her right to represent the Philippines in the MU stage in an unbranded multi-franchise pageant. As in all branded products, I believe that branded pageants have a brand equity to protect.

    H) THOSE WITH NO OPINION (as of today), AND HAVE A DIFFERENT AGENDA:

Scorg : Delivered a long homily and sermon as who should be chosen as MUP. Lol.

    Chezka: Kalaban ni Fabian Reyes.

John : Ayaw na ayaw kay Voltaire. Lol. (Baka naman LQ lang kayo?)

Abcde : Heckler ni Celeste Cortesi, pero walang pinili.

Dino : Wondering what the fascination with Ms. Bohol is, pero walang pinili.

Lol. (Paul, is that you?)

    =======

    Winning Team Prize :

    1) Bragging and Gloating Rights : They will be allowed to say “I told you so!”, “I am so great, I have been consistently predicting the correct winner for the past x years”, etc. (Lol)

    2) Each Winning Team Member can choose any one member of the Losing Teams to bash and rant about in the comment section. Lol.

3). If the winning candidate is the same as the choice of Norman, Norman, to send via Food Grab P250 Jollibee value meal worth to the other winning members. Please send privately to Norman your address. LOL.

4). Will send GCASH (minimum P100) to Thomas. Lol.

    Losing Teams Penalty :

    1) Will Promise Not To Bash the eventual Winner until after the MUO competition.

    2) Will post in the comment section their close up photo , and everyone is allowed to judge them. Lol.

    3) One member of the Losing Team can choose one member of the winning Team and send over P250 worth of Mang Inasal value meal.

    4) Will send GCASH (minimum P150) to Thomas. Lol.

    World Peace.

    • @Thomas I’m leaning to Ms Bohol having known the other lady’s character. it’s not just being maldita. I personally know her former pr .As much as I find her beautiful. I don’t want to cringe also if she get asked about Ph culture. Im leaning to the lady who grew up most of her life in Ph that’s Bohol. I’m not in Ph as much as I want to participate in mang inasal bet

      • Well she burned her bridges with her former organization. MEP is not known to be hard to work with they are very kind people out there.

    • Tito Norman has inside info from Voltaire being a closer than close friend. NO ayaw na away. I am for any of the newbies

    • Hi Thomas! I believe Celeste will be the next MUP. Itataya ko titi ko hahaha

    • Thomas i am ashamed of myself betting on two candidates! Though my heart is screaming for Pauline I go for Celeste for the win. After some soul-searching ( ano daw??? 🤣🤣🤣) it dawned on me that the crown doesn’t just demand beauty of face, glowing personality, wit and intelligence but fate and destiny as well. And i just have the gut feel for Pasay.
May the stars align for Celeste tonight.
Yet, whoever is crowned besides her, … we bow to you our queen. 🙂

  24. One of the reasons why I picked Pauline as the torchbearer of this batch is because, among the frontrunners, she has not yet competed on an international stage.

Thusly, I’d love to see Pauline introduce herself and say on top of her lungs, “Philippines!” on the MU stage. Best of luck, Miss Bohol!

    That’s all.

    • I agree…kayang-kaya yan ni Pauline!!!

      Pauline Cucharo Amelinckx, PHILIPPINES!!! 🇵🇭👑❤

      #MissUniverse2022

      • Her engaging and endearing personality gives her an edge for the crown. She thinks quickly and is so articulate at that.

        That’s all.

      • Very true Miss A. Ipagpray natin na umayon ang kapalaran at galaw ng mg planeta at bituin kay Pauline bukas. ❤

      • Hhmmmmn. That’s juicy, @bonsaihater. Baka ma-transcend yung favoritism n’ya sa judges.

        That’s all.

      • @Cool Brew.

My heart is in and for Bohol. My soulmate is a Boholanon, but we never ended up together. He is still in my heart though. 🤗

        That’s all.

      • Way lalis sa yawyaway ug unod sa giyawyaw kay payts kaayo si Pau, Raul. Pero ang lawas, bus-ok gyud. Linginon pud iyang nawong. Dili pud kaayo habog. Unta swertehon gihapon.

    • @Anna, I will give you a guided tour around Bohol if Pauline wins the whole shebang. Who knows, we might even bump into your soulmate there. Haha

      • Gosh! He is married and I am, too. Super gwapo nun, typical Filipino color pero may pagka-Latino. Hihi! I have already closed our chapter together, so malabo na kaming magkita kahit s’ya pa ang mag-insist. But I will still visit Bohol soon, bringing my Danish husband. I will try to meet you there.

        That’s all.

  25. This is not a prediction but just a wish. I would love to see Celeste Cortesi in the final 5 along with Albay, Laguna, Makati and Aklan.

    To each his own.

  26. I would like Michelle Dee to win because I believe she will be a stand out at MU while Celeste might get drowned by the sea of latinas and european ladies but I’m also ok if she wins. I mean who will ever dislike that pretty face and banging body?
As long as the winner will be between the two then I can hibernate into deep slumber until the MU finals in the Dominican Republic.

  27. I concur with final prediction. Kasi halos Lahat ng mga candidates eh puro shongit sya lang yung maganda. I would just train her more in public speaking.

    • Hehe may contestant din dito na ang chaka kapag ngumingiti hehe, can’t believe a lot of people here sees a Miss Universe in that woman haha

  28. Diba GF ni Willie Revillame si Celeste? Or EX GF?

Si Willie na BFF ng owners ng Front Row? Front Row na may ari ng MUP?

    • i am rooting for celeste. she has what it takes to be the next miss universe philippines or miss universe 2022 rather.

      • Harnaaz said in an interview that as a judge, she’s looking for authenticity in a candidate. Celeste is portraying a conservative image (fashion wise), a princess type for her MUP stint but her pics in her IG account shows a different image before her MUP stint. So it seems like she’s like an actress just portraying a role to win a crown. Her IG account is full of pics of her wearing string bikinis, seductive poses and being with different guys in romantic positions. She has tattoos all over her body, one right below her crotch. Let’s just say her IG account is not family friendly. I don’t think she’s a good role model for younger women and little girls.

Her efforts in improving herself is commendable esp with her walk and comm skills but she went as far as getting her nose pointier (when there was nothing wrong with it), getting lip fillers, getting something done with her tired looking eyes during ME and changing her facial shape in order to look like a “goddess” as Filipinos call her beauty. These are my observations based on her IG account pics and youtube videos from 2018 where I almost didn’t recognize her.

I liked her when I saw her first interview before she became an official MUP candidate so I checked her IG account and I was turned off.

      • Bellajane,

The current MUP Bea Luigi Gomez has tattoos. Is she not a role model?

One famous BQ turned into sexy almost pornish star these days. Her IG is also riddled with bikinis, seductive poses, almost wearing nothing or wet clothes to reveal her body, being with romantic positions with her boyfriend … is she not a role model for young girls? Should she stop posting these in her IG?

However, other famous BQs have worn revealing bikinis too in their IGs, doing seductive poses and all as well so not sure what really is your point is against Celeste as far as “role model for younger women and little girls”.

  30. Thank you Norman for your well thought out assessment. With the exception of a couple of women, I pretty much have the same list and rankings as your list. In my heart, I truly believe that Celeste will be a great representative of the Philippines and do extremely well at MU. She is ready for the Universe, she will shine as a proud Filipina and we will be made proud by her performance at MU. Just my in humble opinion.

  31. Have always loved Pasay City’s Celeste Cortesi when she started her Miss Universe Philippines journey. Kahit saang angulo, ang ganda ng mukha. Napaka-alta ng dating. She did great in her interview; grace under pressure. Her body is phenomenally fit and toned when she strutted in her SS. Drop-dead gorgeous in that long white gown; she was a vision in white.

Celeste is my Miss Universe Philippines 2022!

    • I guess Filipinos have forgotten how Celesti looked during her ME stint. I saw her youtube video back in 2018 and thought it was a different person. She was already pretty but she had a lot of work done to look the way she looks now facially. A person in her 20s doesn’t change that much in the course of 4 years. I prefer a natural beauty.

      • Bellajane, completely agree regarding natural beauty … but I’ve rarely seen natural beauties these days in pageants or those in the limelight.

Hair: colored/permed/straightened, skin: lightened, laser, rejuvenated/visits to derma/botox, physical transformation of face through fillers/botox/surgery, nose: lifted/threading, chest: implants, teeth: straightened/whitened/veneers/dental implants, etc.

If an enhancement bring confidence and happiness to a woman and it makes her empowered as a whole, who are we to say that it’s a negative thing to do?

        Who’s your pick, btw?

  32. Girls who standout in interviews and facial beauty dept …even with passable SS and EG performances clinches the crown…haven’t u noticed?

    • @THOMAS, I have not yet decided with my winner, I just mentioned my top 5 in no particular order.

      Here is my final pick
      MUP winner – Cortesi
      1st – Dee
      2nd – Amelinckx

Beauty of face posture amazing comm skills
We had a Miss Universe there !!!!
She could have easily won over Andrea Mesa .

  35. Why is the goal to equal Bea’s achievement ?
Why can’t we aspire to win the crown again ?
Annabelle is our best chance . Her walk and overall presentation is already excellent Styling is her only issue which can be addressed in the coming months .
Chantal and Michelle D are my next choice .
Then Pauline who by the way is looking really streamlined. She can definitely be a great rep too .
And finally Cortesi and Katrina then Julia and Piczon

    • Hoy gagang chimp na mashoho kk. gumawa ka ng sarili mong blog! Piliin mo sarili mo na kokoronahan bukas! Sampu ng mga kabaro mong puro bayot na orangutan! Tsupi!

  36. The the purist anti-Celeste here who sprouted like mushrooms…

1/2, 1/4 or even 1/8 Filipino by blood who wishes and goes through the process to represent the Philippines is a Filipina.

Celeste could’ve chosen to compete in Italy. But she chose to join the cut-throat and sometimes toxic competition in the PH.

My choices are also half Filipinas…

    Pauline
    Annabelle
    Julia
Roberta (future MU, half goddess! Lol)

  37. The ultimate question the Selection Panel will have to answer tomorrow is: who among these outstanding contenders best match the brand imagery of MUP? The image of the brand for PR purposes is encapsulated in the “Phenomenal Woman” tagline. To sell the brand this year to corporate sponsors and other publics, it launched its “Uniquely Beautiful” campaign. The slogan appears to be a tacit acknowledgment of the social media savvy Gen Z-ers and Millennials who see style as an expression of self, therefore a core aspect of their authenticity and uniqueness, and who see beauty as about freedom of expression, diversity, and individuality. The quest for MUP crown now boils down to: What does it take to be a uniquely beautiful phenomenal woman in physique, intellect and character?

Since the Selection Committee has to see the personal brands of the contenders from the lens of MUP brand imagery, the hyped frontrunners who happen to be crossover titlists from other pageants have to present a rebranded version of themselves. That means extra work for them. For the rest, all they have to do is to make sure that their personal brand presentation fits the MUP template of its queen.

    • The question the Selection Panel is confronted with can be presented in various ways: Is MUP ready to crown a former MWP, or MEP, or MP-RHA? Or, is MUP ready to crown a halfie this time– to break the two-year pattern of home-grown beauties? Or, is MUP ready to crown a contender from the ethnic minority to bolster its “Uniquely Beautiful” campaign? Whatever the decision will be will certainly impact the optics on MUP brand.

  38. My MUP 2022 is CHELESTE CORTESI.
    2. BOHOL
    3. MAKATI
    4. MISAMIS ORIENTAL
    5. TAGUIG CITY

  39. After hearing Celestes prelims interview, I can confidently say that she’ll be in contention and I don’t mind seeing her winthe crown. The way she answered the questions was masterful- direct and succint.

Now, my safe bet is Michele Dee but she lacks the charisma and energy, as many have griped about her.

My Beatrice pick this year is Chantal although I’ve been hearing buzz on McDowell.

So with that said I’m going to say that if I were to pick out of these scenarios, I’m picking Cortesi. She might not embody that Filipina character we look for but she’s still the heart of a Filipina. Good luck to her!!!

  40. It’s the time of the year. And here I go again…summarizing. Lol.

        World Peace.

    • Thank you for counting my vote Thom. But after listening to Cortesi’s interview I’m torn between her and Pauline.
      Can i bet twice??? 😁😁😁

  41. Norman has connections inside
He seems very close to the comm manager
I remember… Norman g ave us a clue that Rabiya and Bea were going to win
So you’ve got to believe it when he said Celeste .. of course unless he decided that he was going to play us this time around

    • I take that to mean that Norman has impeccable taste and foresight on who is the candidate that best fits the MU brand. Peace. 🙂

  42. Well, Norman has spoken.
    Celeste Cortesi.

My bet is still Michelle Dee, not because I’m a fan because I’m not, but primarily based on her being the “safest” bet of the bunch. Hindsight is 20/20 and her experience as Miss World Philippines, her pedigree, and her exotic features gives her the edge.

Most important is that Michelle completed her reign on the national scale Cortesi did not.

  43. Good morning Pauline, good morning Universe!!! Magrelax ka na muna ineng at wag ng mag overthink ha…meditate, meditate, meditate…because you are Miss Universe Philippines 2022!!! ❤❤❤

    • she will have a great future career as a TV host or presenter … she might even be a permanent emcee at MUP pageants … her skills as a host comes naturally for her , and her voice is a ‘host voice’

  44. “Precious feedbacks from people whose opinions matter”… hello Voltaire

  45. 1. Pasay
    2. Makati
    3. Bohol
    4. Aklan
    5. Cebu City
    6. Misamis Oriental
    7. Davao del norte
    8. Taguig
    9. Baguio
    10. Pangasinan
    11. Palawan
    12. Cebu Prov
    13. Davao del Sur
    14. Batanes
    15. Iloilo prov
    16. Mandaue

  46. WINNER- Makati – uniquely beautiful representing a true filipina beauty. She got them all height body, charisma , strong stage presence and intellect. I think she is the only one that wears with so much less make-up. 🌹🌹🌹

    1st runner up- Cebu City.
The rest- Pasay and Bohol proto-type beauty of the current MU. Tguig latina looks.

But on the actual MU i am rooting for INDIA back to back wohoooo! 🖖✌️

  47. This is Miss Universe PHILIPPINES, not Miss Universe ITALY!!!

Bukod sa nanay niya Pinay, what’s Filipino about her? Proud pa nga siya sa Italian accent niya.

She should join Miss Universe Italy instead!!!!!

  48. I hope Pauline is reading this.

A lot of pageant fans are rallying behind you, believing that you are worthy of the MUP crown. Just chill girl, do your homework and wow everyone on the 30th.

For now, you have the Catriona Gray and Pia Wurtzbach standing, looking physically wide on screen, but know that your good heart and eloquence will make you win the crown.

Getting leaner body for the MUP competition is over now, but please, once you win MUP, work hard on toning down more. You look petite because of your erroneous body goal. Plan your meal and hit the gym.

Above all, meditate. Remember the strongest purpose why you are competing at MUP.

    That’s all.

    • Wow. This is a very sincere charge. There you go, Pauline. AWL has bestowed on you the crown.

  49. She nailed it. She was very relaxed, engaging, and talked with so much sense. With this restored video, here is their final ranking
    MUP- Schmidt
    MUP Tourism- Bohol
    MUP Charity – Cortesi
    1st runner up- Dee
    2nd runner up- Mc Donnel

    • I do not mind Pauline takes the crown with Schmidt behind her in the final ranking come coronation night. I choose these 2 girls because I believe they are both powerful storytellers. They have a lot of very good stories to tell, Pauline from her wisdom and maturity and Chantal from her own personal experience as she had been suffering from depression. Everybody likes to listen to them and get valuable life lessons from their stories. They are also very pretty. Celesti could snatch the crown from these 2 girls because she is the complete package but Pauline’s and Chantal’s stories that I prefer more to listen.

  50. Ooooh… Tito Norm, you picked Celeste… but at the center of your heart (shaped grid) is Julia. Is this a secret message? Lol

      • Blogger, ano’ng premyo ng mananalo? Ba’t wala ‘ata’ng Press Release on that?

Nu’ng kay RM (2020), sinabi agad/ahead (of the Finale), so & so… Ba’t tahimik ngayon?

      • Ang kukulit nu’ng mga Pinoy sa GrandTV. MUP na lang daw panoorin. Iniinis si Nawath?

‘Uy, mga loco ‘yan! Baka sa kinatawan natin bumawi… 😦

Pero, agree ako. Ang DILIM nu’ng Prelims sa Okada. Okada, no? ‘Yun’g itim na gown ni Chantal, ‘di na nakita. Para siya’ng naging reyna ng gabi-i… Sana, pagsabog ng LIWANAG ang maipamalas naman ngayon. Ingat lagi sa lahat. Advanced Labor Day greets! 🙂

  51. I’d pick Pauline or Michelle over Celeste anytime of the day.

With all due respect, I do not see her embodying that MUP sash.

  52. I will stick to my ultimate bet, Pauline Amelinckx. Aside from her outstanding natural beauty, her eloquence is a hit in Miss Universe. Pauline is a powerful performer, too. I can see, she’s gonna rock the MUP stage. I hope the brightest stars will constellate in her favor tomorrow night.

But if Celeste wins fair and square, then I won’t complain.

    That’s all.

  53. If Lady Luck smiles at Celeste tomorrow night, it would be the biggest story of redemption. I was one of those who didn’t warm up to her when I heard about her short-lived reign as MEP but I’m impressed with how she tackled her second foray into pageantry. Just like everyone else, she deserves a second chance.

  54. Pak na Pak…i sense the sincerity of celeste!!! good luck celeste…..but only advice not just read ha, read from reputable resources because there are alot of fake news. Yes you might be reading but reading alot of trash materials. Yun lang i-add ko sa sinabi ni celeste

  55. I love Celeste , … on the other hand , I feel like Michelle Dee has all the qualities of a fighter , during Q&A on finals night , if she exudes hunger for the crown when she speaks to the judges , then the MUP2022 crown will be hers !

Just my playful imagination, what if Celeste becomes the 2022 Miss Italy Universe and VVV becomes the 2022 Miss New Zealand Universe , the trio of Michelle , Celeste and Victoria can mop up the floor with the other delegates in MU2022 … ( but watch out for Venezuela and Colombia this year, typical delegates who have the queenly presence from South America … and the host country will play a role)

  56. well said mr. norman. and what a relief somehow. may the stars align in celestes favor. good luck ms. pasay

  57. Celeste Cortesi is definitely the total package- Beauty, Brains & Skills… Only reason why her popularity is not at parr with our past winners and the other frontrunners is that she’s not relatable to the Filipino masses. I know it’s her being classy but I find her manner of speaking too short and concise.. Like when she introduces herself, she needs to build more rapor while showcasing her Filipino culture…. Like she should greet her fans 1st and adress them in an indearing way while speaking in Filipino.. and she should end her statements with something endearing and hospitable like saying “maraming salamat po”… Simple things like that would make the people love her even more. That’s all. I hope she wins.

    • What if she will be asked to sing a tagalog song ? I dont think shes fit to represent us filipinos… dont get decieved by a fox clothed in a sheep’s skin… bait baitan lang yan..

    • She’s not popular because people know her history. And they also know it’s a lot of smoke and mirrors with her and her camp.

If she makes it to Miss Universe, expect Gazini interview style. You can fool Pinoy fans, but not MUO.

Not to mention a candidate who’s clearly more Italian than Filipino will draw the ire of the other fans from Southeast Asia to Latin America.

      Next.

  58. Ay nako, hype pa more, grown up na sa 3 years lol.

Easy to work with daw yung Chosen Girl.

Sweetheart consolation prize yung Fourth Wheel.

    Piczon = Tugonon 2.0. McDonnel = Gray 2.0 – 6.0 because she’s no Catriona.

Wag na mag asa. Taff 10 for the Felepens this year. Pero sisingit pa rin si Singson.
