Tomorrow, April 18, the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Top 32 will fly to Boracay Island for a brief tropical getaway at the Aqua Boracay Hotel and Resort.

If you happen to be there, get ready to be awed by their presence.

  1. I know there is no perfect candidate… but who among these girls tick the most number of boxes?
    Should we pick one of those girl who’s gorgeous but lacks the ideal personality & comskills… or should we pick someone tall, driven, eloquent with a great personality but lacks the ideal facial beauty?

    I can’t understand the fracas…so ordinary looking!!!!! Iba talaga nagagawa ng hype nanyo…
    Andaming mas magaganda ah…mas matalino…mas may dating…oh please…open your eyes

    • I agree, Makati is overhyped. Facial beauty is average. There are around 10 to 15 candidates with more attractive faces and proportional bodies, namely: Palawan, Nueva Vizcaya, Pangasinan, Baguio, Benguet, Bohol (crown alert), Cebu Province, Aklan (minus the plump figure), Davao del Sur, towering Ilocos Sur, Mandaue, hands down Pasay. Albay should be styled properly to tone down her strong features. Iloilo Province has an ordinary face but her eloquence makes up what she lacks facially. Cebu City should let her hair down on April 30 to make her face more attractive. Misamis Oriental is not facially beautiful but she’s articulate.

  3. This blogger i hope will find the true essence of beauty and not let this blog become a vehicle of promoting traditional beauty politics based on clout. For what value i find in hyping the likes of dee amelincks cortesi and these so called frontrunners when other beauties deserve so much more attention…..nga walang appeal yang mga frontrunners nyo!!!! samantalang ang daming mas nagagandang candidates…..Davao Del Norte, Pangasinan, Baguio, etc

    Kat, on the other hand, is undeniably beautiful but she is another Gazini in the making.

    We need someone who is universally appealing, smart, engaging and one whose beauty will stand out.

    Katrina is ok too
    It looks like the body and pasarela issues with Pauline have not been corrected but I am ok also if she wins
    With Chantal , I think her facial beauty will be a problem . She’s pretty all right .. but not the kind of pretty that wins MU . If she gets the crown, I hope that they find the right hair and make up for her . I think she’s already good on stage.
    As for Julia , I am excited to see a more improved facial presentation .

  6. A Uniquely Beautiful island for Uniquely Beautiful ladies on a Uniquely Beautiful Easter Monday, the first post-pandemic getaway day. Is MUP trying to set the pace for Philippine pageantry? I hope this is a harbinger of things to come for Philippine pageantry.

    • Hopefully scorg,, pre pandemic bbp and mep and mwp do getaway day too. I remember in 2005 bbp girls were in Mactan then MWP in PPUR in Palawan. I love that kind of thing.
