  2. not really useful in measuring their Q & A skills, perhaps these expose good intonations and their speech dynamics … I will wait for those on the spot Q & A real time sessions to see who will really outshine everyone else …

    • Yeah, I agree. I’ll wait for a live, unrehearsed, on the spot interview to see which candidate really shines in this aspect. In a live interview, intelligence, confidence, an engaging personality, and a sense of humor are paramount.

  3. Hindi ko na tinapos panoorin ang challenge na ito. I will watch na lang the preliminary interview. April 5 na, wala pa ring pasabog na ganaps ang MUP. When will they pick their Top 30? Anu-ano na ang mga event na kanilang ilalatag na magpapa-excite sa mga kandidata at pageant fans as well?

    ‘Yung mga frontrunner ay wala sa top picks for this challenge. Now it dawned on me na binibigyan ng MUPO ng space ang ibang kandidatang may laban para hindi tayo nakapokus lang kina Pauline, Celeste, Michelle, Katrina, etc.

    Ano na pala ang plan ni Jasmine Umali? Nakaka-miss ang sophisticated beauty n’ya. Kung talagang plan n’yang sumali ulit sa MUP at nagpapahinga lang s’ya for now, pwes, gayahin n’ya si Graciella Lehman! Magpa-augment s’ya ng boobs, magpagawa ng ilong, ipaayos ang ngipin at magpabotox ng mukha para hindi mukhang tabingi. After all, she has the making of a Miss Universe. Tindig, lakad, katawan, attitude, very Miss Universe.

    That’s all.

  4. Davao del Norte indeed was a surprise coming from behind. The way she speaks, her facial expressions, her voice, diction and thoughts are all in place.

  5. Julia Saubier haters on the rise… and their (his) age show based on the celeb reference. Lol.

    Why use other name? Very obvious.

  6. Davao del Norte’s Jeanne Nicci Orcena was a pleasant surprise. Her eyes and mouth kinda resembles Fahsai Drouin.

  7. Davao Del Norte nailed it. She speaks really well and very articulate.
    I also like the lady from Bulacan and Makati
    San Pablo, Laguna also is good and have so much energy.

    • Albay , yes shes fluent in English but … not as eloquent as the others..

  8. I consider Orcena of Davao del Norte as the darkhorse in this competetion

    • I agree, if given more time. I think she can pull off a Rabiya Mateo come from behind win.
