  1. I like Emma
She is a ‘clean beauty ‘
    Sobrang linis ng profile…
Very streamlined like Pia Maxine and Sam B
But sometimes Emma looks fake and that is something they need to work on … maybe less make up and better hairstyling .. and more natural facial expressions ?

  2. Having so many pageant camps does not necessarily mean more winners for the Philippines.

    Good morning to all.

    • Paul , we only need Bella or Chella
Cute and not ‘prima Donna Ala Miss Venezuela

    • Emma being from KF should also join MWP.

Ty.

  4. Norman PLEASE post another set of pictures of Emma Tiglao. Yung magagandang pictures. Kindly request beautiful photos from Emma and her team.

Maraming salamat at magandang hapon sa iyo.

      • Gumawa rin ng vlog si Lavinia (more or less) of the same topic/theme. She divided her discussions into several categories (unfinished business, fans’ demands, etc.)

Still Ahtisa, Emma and Patch are hot contenders.

  5. So speaking of nosejob, these are the Pinay beauty queens na maganda ang resulta ng nose job
    1. Samantha Bernardo- if you don’t know her from the past you will think that it’s real.
I think I know her doctor.
    6. Parul Shah- looks real
    7. Patricia Tumulak- maganda Ang gawa.
    8. Alice Dixson – ginawa after pageant na. Looks natural.
Emma should consider having revision rhinoplasty. Bye

    • @ Gul Panag Imagine that (#8). After MI inayos. Kung sa torpedo-like scrutiny ng mga Japanese naka-semifinal pa rin, ibig sabihin even ‘au naturel’ maganda talaga siya. 🙂

But ‘familia buena’ din naman siya.

(I recall a FB page on Quezon province pageantry where they once posted a YouTube video of her visiting her family’s vast & beautiful coastal property. I wonder how it is now…)

      • I may also add Bea Santiago. Her nose looks real. Alice Dixson’s nose job is almost unnoticeable because we expect her to have that kind of nose since she’s Amerasian, just look at her previous photos and you’ll find out. More prominent tip and higher nose bridge.

    • Emma’s nose is not really the issue. I think she needs a team like that of Catriona that will take care of her pageant needs such as RIGHT & EFFECTIVE styling.

Still pinagdidiskusyunan. Good morning.

      • @ paul Good morning, Dong.

So,… You want her to leave KF? And run Independently? Well, watch her on NET25 then. Are their in-house stylists doing her justice? That’s like her OOTD’s. 🙂

As @ scorg said, for her to give pageantry one last/more go, she needs to bring an elevated brand to the table, not ‘good ole Emma’ (yet) again. Her current job can be that!

Dito na rin ako mag-co-comment sa sinabi mo below, that her best chances are at MWP.

If she does so, it is to win. MWPO needs to be clear on & be OK with that. Otherwise, why bother? Look at Tracy. Returns to MWP, & gets the top plum.

But the thing is, gusto ko rin mag-MWP si Atty. kung hindi rin lang MUP if the argument is that MUPO will only ever crown a newbie. If that’s the case, I’m very confident Ms. Patch will put in a solid~convincing SupraChat! Emma can be sent to either RHA or Eco… I prefer the latter kasi Mr. ALV seems to reserve the former for ‘artistas’ & we know he is on warm terms with Dr. Rezk.

      • Very good points Flor.

        Salamat kaayo Flor. Mis ya.

  6. I find Emma really pretty
She’s long and lean and very feminine
    She also seems very likable
I would not discourage her from joining MUP
In pageants like MUP , you never know where tide will turn for the girls
She will not likely win the crown
    But who knows?
There’s only one way to find out

    • Kol pwede pa si Emma for these 3 pageants – MUP, MWP & MPE until 2023. Kung matalo siya sa MUP this year, next year pwede pa siya sa other two. But best option for her is still the MWP. Thanks.

  7. I agree w a commented that Emma if going back w a bang should join mwp bec she will most likely be assigned to Supra. Care bears sa rhinoplasty issue .Emma is tall ,beautiful and relatable.

  8. So far, I can only see two comeback girls in pageantry who have the potential to make it big in Miss Universe because of their outstanding beauty and communication skills: Patricia Magtanong and Pauline Amelinckx. These two will surely continue our ongoing streak in Miss Universe. Patch just needs to polish her styling and a little on her physique, and Pauline needs to lose her weight big time. Both have ample time to work on the suggestions.

Ahtisa’s time is not yet ripe.

Roberta Tamondong in the meanwhile needs a breather and enough preparation before joining MUP. She needs to bloom pa talaga dahil may igaganda pa s’ya. Tapos magbasa ng magbasa ng current events at mag-practice ng mag-practice ng English. Kung seseryosohin n’ya ang preparation, she can bring the Miss Universe back home. Diyosa kasi s’yang talaga.

VVV needs more years to come back. She has to Filipinize more and, haaaaays, she has to thicken her lips and do a remedy on her eyelids.

Steffi Aberrasturi, unfortunately, is not for MU talaga.

Maskulado ang katawan n’ya, so beefy. She needs to tone down. I just wonder kapag pumayat s’ya, magiging Gwendolyn Ruais ang beauty n’ya.

Bethany Talbot. She is beautiful and photogenic. If she really considers joining at bata pa naman s’ya, okay lang in order to gain an experience in pageantry. Pero kung talagang palaban s’ya and determined with Catriona’s grit pa, aba, ibigay agad ang MUP crown!

Rina Maier. Super ganda s’ya. Pero I have yet to see kung talagang buo ang loob n’yang sumali sa pageant. Baka kasi she is bored lang talaga o kaya need n’yang magkaroon ng passport into a good showbiz career.

‘Yan lang muna. I have more time to visit Tito Norm’s blog kasi I stay at home lately. Nandito pa si hubby, so more cuddle time din at home in this cold season. Hihi! Ingat po tayong lahat sa virus. Palakasin natin ang immune system natin. Take vitamins and do exercise daily.

    That’s all.

  9. Still my taff 3 for MUP 2022: FLORera, BONGuton & FABebe. CONGRATS GURLS!!!!! 😊😊😊😊👏👏👏👏

      • @Sascha marami nag thumb down sa atin. Hahaha. Mga inengs na nag thumb down, can’t u see? Kulang kayo sa age requirement. 😂😂😂😂😂😜😜😜😜

  10. As AW-L said, this girl will never win a major crown
“Mark my words” .. stop na kasi

  11. Hot na hot pa rin si Emma. Tama ka Norman sa pag-post nito. Many are still interested with her. Patuloy na pinag-uusapan ng opposing forces. Tuloy ang diskusyon. Anyway, she has two more years to join our national pageants. She is still eligible for MWP, MUP and MPE in 2023.

    • Ahtisa Manalo has four more years (2023-2026). Huwag masyadong magmadali. REMEMBER: Years ending in 3 and 5 are the luckiest for the Philippines ib international pageants.

  12. To be clear, I have nothing against those who underwent rhinoplasty (and veneer procedure) and those girls who are planning to undergo the same in order to enhance their looks before joining beauty pageants. That is unless their enhancements look nice and not botched.

Look at Stephany Gutierrez of Venezuela. She had an amazing nose job and she looked natural on that. Even Gabriela Isler also took the surgeon’s knife to enhance her nose and her total look.

I dunno why aesthetic centers here cannot do an amazing transformation to their clients. Emma Tiglao is the classic example. Rabiya even had that unnatural nose job after winning MUP. If only Emma could find a good doctor who would remedy her unflattering nose, then I wouldn’t mind her joining yet another national beauty pageant. After all, she has that amazing body. But, it’s far-fetched for her to win a major crown, i.e. MUP and MWP. Mark my words.

    That’s all.

    • To add my dear, I personally feel that her communications skills (perhaps improved)
      are still subpar.

      • That’s another thing.

Well, if a girl can talk the talk in our language and is open to have an interpreter for that matter, maybe her being not-so-good at English won’t bar such girl from joining and winning a pageant. But then again, we Filipino fans have already set the norm–that our rep in international pageants should be a good English speaker.

        That’s all.

      • Among all Philippine reps to Miss Universe, si Maxine Medina lang ang nag request ng interpreter sa miss Universe sa mismong Lupang Hinirang pa! Haha, pang record talaga LOL

Pinag-uusapan. So join na sa MWP! Gayahin ang rutang tinahak ni Tracy Maureen Perez at huwag si Leren Mae and the like. Good luck!

    • Emma is also from KF so better join MWP. I think wala pang balak si gaffud na ibigay sa isang hindi a&q ang MUP title.

    • @Cool Brew: We indeed can’t stop her from pursuing her dream. But the big question is: what is her dream? To get another crown? Or to come closer to a clear ultimate career?

One rejoins a beauty pageant to revalidate her worth in another platform. It will be a useless exercise if the criteria for revalidating one’s worth is the same one that has already been validated. This time around, she should present an improved personal branding. Good value-adding elements to one’s personal brand usually comes from one’s dream career. If she wants to be a great broadcaster, she could show off the imagery of a friendly but fiesty and knowledgeable communicator. That is how revalidating her worth will produce results this time around. Presenting basically the same persona that made her win the first time may not work in the second time. Leren learned this lesson very recently.

The same unsolicited advise applies to all other repeaters.

      • @ scorg Sa madaling salita, similar to what is always said.

Bago umulit, mag-aral/magtrabaho/mabuhay muna. Para, (mas) may ‘hugot’ the next time. The ‘hugot’ is proof of brand elevation, char….

SINGLE LADIES, YOU WANT INSTANT ‘HUGOT’? Have your heart broken. Then fight off the hurt for all you’re worth for the sake of the majority (rule), the greater good. It will be dissonance & paradox in simultaneous & equal measure. It’s a feeling so bizarre you will let/allow/lead your audience to experience themselves through your choice & delivery of words.

Be an ARTIST, who ‘knows where to lead the heart* & how to lead it there’. (Steven Chiong)

The way Admin has ‘structured’ the comments hints at the Blogger’s true sentiments towards Emma. In other words, it’s a no.

Very well. If this will be how it is, then NEITHER SHOULD THE LAWYER. Para consistent.

In any case. I expect M.I.Galeria to get the Charity function. 🙂

        * – Actually, the eye. But I think for our purposes they are one & the same.

      • @scorg Leren did not do anything aside from pageantry and modeling aray ko po!!! Hence, her weak communication skills and obviously lacking life experience. Emma is better, she was an OFW, worked corporate jobs and now a broadcaster. Conteserang contesera.

      • @Lymaraina: Your observations prove my point. If one wants to revalidate oneself in another beauty contest, she better present a better version of herself, not just physically but mainly on the other dimensions of beauty. She has to present an improved personal brand with additional credentials like substantial professional experience, significant community engagement, and/or higher education. A manufactured nose, teeth, jawline, thighs, etc, will hardly add value to one’s personal brand in this revalidation quest. Worth will come from the other dimensions of beauty– intellect and core values. That is the source of “hugot” @Flor is talking about If Emma is really bent on joining again, she has to make a reality check on the other elements of her personal brand. Without this, she will be perceived as a quintessential “contesera”, one making pageantry a career in itself, not a stepping stone to greater life goals.

      • @scorg, there are certain girls whose sole motivation to join is their passion and hilig, that’s my take. With regards to rebranding, advocacy and career plans, I’m in the dark coz some of these girls dont wear tbeir hearts on their sleeves but yes, i do agree with u on using their foray into pageantry as a stepping stone for success

  14. @Flor, exactly! That’s the difference between a contractual job and a career. Short-term engagements should be be stepping stones to clear more stable long-term careers. Beauty contests are typical examples of short-term contractual engagements; they cannot be the career. I observe that repeaters and cross-overs who win are those who project the imagery that beauty contests are merely part of their strategic routes to a more stable career. Why? Their ambition, determination and sense of purpose naturally come out in their language and demeanor.

  15. As much as I love Emma’s pasarela,
I don’t think she fits the MUP crown.

I can see her winning Supra or MGI for that matter.

    • Supra is looking for women with pretty faces; a face that is not debatable whether it’s pretty or not.
They tend to crown effortless beauties in all aspects i.e. Porxild, Mutya etc.
The reason Dindi did not advance further is that her kind of beauty is debatable.
One perfect example that perfectly fits the Supra mold is Megan Young.

  16. If her dream is to still join for the nth time the pageantry world, go for it. Life is full of “what ifs”.

I just feel bad how overdone she looks now. The photos, I hope were just the result of overzealous bad photoshop – – unless she is aiming The Lion King look. Lol.

That dancing clip with wiry, fake looking hair, the forced looking smile and yes the.. the… the.. nose and the dancing is cringy.

True wisdom is also evaluating one’s chances and knowing when to quit.

    World Peace.

  17. Dreams are made for those who really try. If her dream is to become Miss Universe, then she should go for it.

    • But Serge she should as well consider her weaknesses and limitations. She should learn lessons both from the experiences of Leren Bautista and Maureen Montagne. Leren failed in MUP (dahil ipinilit talaga) while Maureen succeeded because of right decision jn joining BPP. DREAM BIG BUT CONSIDER at the SAME TIME the REALITIES of your SITUATION (candidacy).

    • Everyone can dream big of course but there are dreams that are far from being realistic.
Even the wildest dreams have parameters as well so setting the most realistic goals is one of the many factors of success and contentment not only in pageantry but also in life.

  18. If this is her ultimate dream, then go for it Emma! She’s already a pro in terms of presentation – tatak KF – but she needs to hone her commskills. Or else she could be the Steffi of this batch.

  19. Pageantry is simply a stepping stone to a more stable career, or a yet higher calling. It is not a career per se. If Emma thinks joining– and winning– again will up the ante on her budding career in broadcasting, like landing a job as International Correspondent or Anchor of CNN, by all means she should go for it. If not, she better spend her time honing her mass communication skills and improving her craft so that her dream career will come to fruition.

The same applies to Atty. Patch. Knowing how intelligent and intuitive she is, I strongly suspect that if ever she gives pageantry another shot, her motivation is to use the MU platform as a stepping stone to a grander ambition to be an international lawyer. I can see in her the makings of another Amal Clooney, the acclaimed beauteous international human rights lawyer.

    • @ scorg This reminds me of what a college professor of mine said… My (very) first job was at the University; I accepted a research project on a contractual duration. Anyway, that’s EXACTLY what he said! Bluntly told us (junior researchers then), “hindi career ang pagiging Research Associate”. It involved going from one contract to the next. So, I left… Boy, I’m glad he told me. 🙂

    • Kaway kaway Ganiel K. After mag runner up, resign na lang kasi need daw nya mabuhay.

  20. The best option for Emma Tiglao is joining MWP because of the Supranational title. Higher chances of winning because she is also (still) eligible for other titles. Mahirapan siyang panalunin ang MUP because there are so many contenders who are far better communicators than her.

They should seek the guidance of Meagan kung paano nawala yung “dugyot” factor nya during starstruck days….

  21. she will not win MU … but she will fight, she is a fighter , a well-trained one , and I am sure Pinas will continue its streak with her, and she can even place very high , maybe not top 5 but who knows ,… most likely top 10 in MU 2022 !

  22. And who are these Biatch(you know who you are) trying to stop Emma from reaching her goals with your demeaning, insulting words?! Show us tour faces here and let me judge kung maganda ka ba, shet!
Botched nose or not, it looks good on her. she’s articulate, smart, and very pretty.
Let her join any contest as she wishes….pakialam nyo, Tse!

    • Correct!
Anybody could join as long as they are still qualified. But please stop bashing as if you are more beautiful than her. Let me remind you, there is no perfect person including you!

  24. Botched nose job. Madaming queens ang maganda ang pagkagawa. Dapat nagtanung-tanong sya sa kanila.

    • Her ilong is not the issue but proper styling. Maraming beauty queens that don’t have the perfect nose like Cat. Nanalo pa rin siya.

  25. Stop na. I think she is done just like how her nose has become overdone. She doesn’t look good anymore. Jonas Gaffud’s first criterion is beauty of face. That alone disqualifies Emma.

    That’s all.

    • @Ana Winter-Lund, I am dissapointed with you. You do not know Emma very well so please hinay hinay lang sa pagbibigay ng opinion mo. You need to meet Emma in person. I tell you she’ s beautiful, kind, down to earth, etc.
If she wants to join again in pageants sino ba tayo para sabihing huwag na lang? If she is still qualified, may magagawa ba tayo?
And that nose na sinasabi nyo, kung sya nga di nya pinoproblema, kayo pa?

      • Hi @Miss Tissa,

I am sorry if you were disappointed with my statement. But, I am just voicing my opinion. Beauty pageant is supposedly a contest not for the most congenial girl, but the most stunning one. And I thought Emma has come overboard in modifying her look to the extent that she has become horrible.

If MUP has now changed to becoming a pageant for the most awesome character, I’d love Jo Berry join the pageant. For me, she is topnotch.

        That’s all.

  26. If that’s what her heart desires then push lang, but it is a NO for me, if you ask me. She’s pretty but does not possess that “IT factoria”.

    • Tatlong araw na pero hot pa rin si Emma Tiglao. Parang hot pandesal. Still pinag-uusapan.

      • Narito ang iilan sa mga sinabi ni lavinia sa kanyang latest vlog:
        1. Busy si Ahtisa sa kanyang mga negosyo;
        2. Busy si Emma sa pagiging news anchor; at
        3. Busy si Patch sa kanyang law career and law firm.

      • Ahtisa has until 2026 to join national pageants. So huwag magmadali. While Emma has until next year to join MWP, MUP & MPE. But Patch has to join (if she decides to compete) this year because she is turning 28 in the next few months.

      • I think another post on Ahtisa, Emma and Patch will entice more commenters to write their thoughts in this blog site.

      • Norman mabuti pa magpost ka uli tungkol kay Ahtisa, Emma at Patch kasi mabenta pa rin sila sa mga commenter like Angkol Fabs. Topic: Saan ba dapat na national pageant sila sasali this year? Salamat.
