The Miss Universe Philippines Organization is raising funds to provide relief to the victims of this calamity. After the onslaught of Typhoon Odette, many Filipino families desperately need water, food, clothing, medicine, and temporary shelters.

In partnership with Sendwave and Save the Children Philippines, an additional $10* will be added to overseas donations of any amount sent through the Sendwave app. Even a single dollar can go a long way in helping displaced Filipino families.

To Filipinos abroad and foreign nationals, please share and donate if you have the means.

All of the donations will be distributed to partner charities in the affected cities or provinces.

  1. Can they not as an organization shell out cash from their funds ala BPCI who donated P500,000 for the typhoon victims coursed to the Philippine Red Cross.

  2. What if pageant votes go directly to an aid fund for disaster/calamity victims. 💐👑🙏🏽

  3. gusto ko mag donate pero naaalala ko ang donation nong Yolanda na binulsa lang ng mga animal. Napa isip ako sa Philippine Redcross pero nandon pala si Gordy. Kaya mga kakilala ko rin dito sa US ayaw mag donate kasi kahit mga damit daw instead na donation eh binibenta jan ginawang ukay-ukay.

  4. Long lines of desperate and hungry people at ATMs that dont dispense cash, vehicles at gas stations, water refilling stations, cp battery charging stations.. U can’t access your accounts and credit cards are a joke…WU, Palawan, Cebuana have started to accept cash remittances.. it’s a miracle that we are still alive and for that we’re grateful and a Merry Christmas to our Team Norman members, visitors and lurkers.

  5. Typhoons are getting stronger. Scientists are predicting even more disastrous typhoons in the years to come, exacerbated by global warming. Unless industrialized countries will commit to target zero carbon emission negotiated at the Paris Accord, the Philippines which contribute insignificantly to global carbon emission, will continue to face the devastation of intense typhoons year after year. The thought of relief operations year after year is dreadful! What is the long term solution? How can pageantry contribute to it? We have environment themed pageants, local and international. But are their advocacies scratching the surface of climate change? How can the Pageant Powerhouse, which is also the country bearing the most brunt of climate change caused by Economic Powerhouses, contribute to the long-term solution to global warming?

  6. KakaSad din sa surigao. Typhoon area talaga yan Kasama Ang agusan del Norte, misamis oriental at camiguin na malapit na sa Bohol and some area sa Cebu province. Yang tabing dagat na areas sa Lugar na yan Ang laging nababagyo.
    Laging umuulan dati sa surigao city kapag nagpupunta ako doon. Pero Ang sarap ng seafoods, fresh Ang isda sinugba malapit sa govt hospital😊
    Maraming developed tourist spot sa misamis and surigao 👍
    I pray na mapabilis sana Ang recovery nila. I pray na kalimutan Muna Ang politika at kailangan magtulungan 🙏
