Before the Preliminary Competition of the 70th Miss Universe begins in Eilat, Israel at 7pm (their time) or 1am (December 11 in the Philippines), I would like to share with you the twenty (20) ladies I anticipate to perform well. Andrea or Mexicans in general are very good hosts and entertainers. That can’t be said to south Africans.
After Prelims. colombia India Paraguay sealed the deal.
My current favorites are Puerto Rico, India, USA, and Philippines.

I think the top black delegates such as South Africa, Namibia, Kenya will be overcome by other currently zooming black delegates and replace them in the semfinals. These currently zooming black delegates are Belgium, Panama and USA.
In Asia, we have Philippines, India, VIetnam and Japan. …but … I am concerned that Japan is peaking right now and can replace Vietnam … I sure do hope all four make it to the semifinals

I really want Spain to win. But if she doesn’t win, I hope it’s either Paraguay or Brazil (in that order).
I think Thailand can enter the top 16 but only up to that point. I think she’s the one who is going to win the fan vote as I believe Vietnam can enter the top 16 through her own merit. I have my doubts if Thailand can enter the top 10 (I am not body shaming; just stating my gut feel).
In the live of Miss Singapore and Bea they even say miss Vietnam is a favorite of mu staff since she’s very approaching and she makes everyone feel comfortable. I can also see it naman.
I agree. Is there still a Miss Congeniality award at Miss Universe? If there still is, I think Vietnam will easily win it. I have seen many pictures/IG stories/videos where she was very friendly and easily got along well with many delegates.

I can’t wait to watch the preliminaries, after which will I decide who the girls are who’d probably make it in the first cut.
I am confident though that Beatrice was able to crack the interview round, and will impress the judges in the swimsuit and evening gown portions. Others who are anticipated to be in the first cut are Paraguay, Brazil, Puerto Rico and Spain. I have a gut-feel that Thailand would not advance in the semis.
Oh, Singapore. I just wish that heavens would work on her favor. I find her stunning though sans sash factor glow.

I think 8 will be from Americas. Lots of Latina stunners. 5 from Asia/Pacific/Africa and 3 from Europe.
Americas: Puerto Rico, Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela, USA, Chile, Paraguay Colombia
Asia/Pacific/Africa: India, Thailand, Nigeria, Australia and Philippines
Europe: Spain, Belgium and Russia
Brazil, India and Paraguay might end up filling the top 5 spots if they will be able to sustain a solid performance. PH in top 10 will be a breathe of fresh air but no expectation at all.
