Inspired from the Paru-paru Festival held during the 26th of November, Louis Pangilinan Fashion Empire executed a golden one-piece swimsuit as part of Samantha’s National Costume bodice which was hand-embroidered and embellished with beads, Swarovski crystals and sequins depicting the flamboyant tranformation of women empowerment.
Inspiring change, transition and hope. Like Miss Grand International Philippines 2021 Samantha Panlilio, from a caterpillar, she goes through several stories before she become the beautiful being she is today. A woman who is capable of changing and touching others with hope and joy — truly, a golden butterfly.

Nice costume indeed! But looks too heavy and she keeps on holding the braces on her shoulders. Nevertheless it is one of the best winged costumes we had in pageants. Congrats to the team.

Agree with the comments. Lovely costume but seemed too heavy for her. Not the best presentation overall, but still hoping she’ll win.
I love her national costume. She could have added drama to her presentation. Her natcos is probably heavy limiting her movement.
I agree with you, serge. She looked tentative and it lacked drama.
But looking back from her SS presentation where she inserted/included the drama, para namang naging forced. Her turns were rough, her poses were stiff, her pointing was unnecessary. Parang inisip lahat, without fluidity. I wonder kung mag iiba ang level of NatCos performance nya kung she added the drama.
Let us also look at the last/bottom photo dito sa article. Was she trying to look dramatic? It just looked awkward, yet again, stiff. I don’t know anymore.
10kgs po ang weight nang wings. This is better than MU rep 2020 natcos naman.
Beautiful costume. Does it contain LED lighting? It sorta “lit up” when they dimmed the spotlight.

The costume is nice but the execution of the walk or parade not to sure. I felt Sam can’t carry the wings well, a little wobbly on the walk.
It was not expected but I find it nice seeing her as a Mariposa. Do not fret because NatCos do not count on the selection of semi finalists. Also, let us continue to support her because so far, she is enjoying her moments at MGI
