  3. I’ll say it again. Hindi maganda si Samantha. She looks like a dried up, pa fierce, trying hard older version of Veejay Floresca or younger version of Aling Dionesia (no offense or veejay or Dionesia) lol. How did she ever win ?

    I really hope that confidence , articulateness will get her to top ten. Good luck.

        Because Samantha is the one featured here, dear. I really don’t get the logic when the topic at hand is say, Samantha’s not so pretty face, commenters will say “pangit din si Bea, Pangit din si Cindy”. Lol. Anong konek? Logic 101 lang naman di ba? If Norman will feature another ugly girl, rest assured I will say so. Regardless of affiliation or camp. I don’t even bother to know what girl belongs to what camp, because it doesn’t matter. Ang maganda, maganda. Ang pangit, pangit, kahit anong camp pa. Lol.

        When Cindy was featured in this blog days before her competition (and you can look it up), I said what horrendous veneers!!! Since then, she has proven herself and won her international pageant through her intelligence, styling, and overall performance (other than face). How can one criticize someone who already got the approval of an international pageant?

        Now, I NEVER said that Samantha will NOT win MGI. I kept on saying that I hope MGI will also consider intelligence, class, articulateness. Things that Samantha has plenty of.

        But let us not kid ourselves, based on the photos released by this blog (and I am sure, pinag pilian na ang best photos sa lagay na among hundreds of photos) : her face is so cake-y with make up as if trying to hide something, she really looks tuyot and trying hard to look fierce, parang Ms. Gay Kalentong ang look nya- – ang pangit talaga [ng registration nya sa mga photos]).

        I will assume their pageant is legendary in the gay ‘concurzo’ circuit. Do share! You live there? 🙂

  8. Bat ganun? Sam looks like a drag queen, especially in her projection at the first photo. Parang soooobbbrang ooooverdoooone. Kahit si Hannah, parang underwhelming sa first 2 photos. Dont get me wrong. I am a big Hannah fan. Meyo disappointed lang.

  13. Wala po akong intensiyon na saktan ang damdamin ng MUP at MWP, pero BPCI is still the number 1 and undisputed national pageant in the Philippines. And I thank you!!! ❤

    • Umaasa lang kasi sa MU and MW brand yang mga yan. Bigay mo sa kanila ang MGI or MIC and lalangawin yan. But look at BPCI, the local brand is strong kaya kahit di pak na pak ang ilang franchise, napapaganda nila. #EvilMamaJLaos #TeamAhasAndKweens

      • @ paul CLICK! You little devil, you. Thank goodness to you, I now know how Hannah can go BIG next year. 🙂

        The assumption will be that ALV will be successful in his political bid. Which means he will no longer have time to personally attend to the 2022 edition of his pageant & with Mama Ru’s resignation as GM of MWPO, there will be no one to oversee Tracy Perez’s successor.

        Here’s the thing. I don’t think under his leadership the MW brand has regained traction in the country after Catriona’s 2016 attempt. Lehmann, Rodriguez, & Dee, all three basically fizzled.

        Next year, Hannah stands the prospect of being ‘untested in international waters’ due to MI’s decision to forego 2021. IMPOSSIBLE that BBP will not happen without an ‘International’ titlist!

        JUST FOR NEXT YEAR, BPCI could get the MWP franchise & give that to Hannah. Their 2022 pageant can proceed with their usual titular hierarchy…

        Though I must admit one possible stumbling block could be 2M, who as we know chose BPCI over Dr. Amaal Rezk’s offer of promotion at Eco-International, something that might still be touchy. But if not, it’s straightforward enough. Why does Hannah still need to endure another bout of Nationals when she is the Grand Champion of her BBP batch?!

        MUP? You want to risk her? Halimbawa sumali si Atty. Magtanong? And what if Ms. Arnold again ends up like Bella or Dimaranan? ‘Eh, ‘di na-stress na naman si ‘Kol mo (@ Fabian Reyes). Baka ‘di na siya manood ng MU, kasalanan pa natin… Alam naman nating gusto niyang mag-abugasya na lang si Binibining Bataan, gayong may green card na’t sayang ang opportunities to study.

        (Supra 2022 will be easy. With Nava now slated to chug coffee in Colombia come January & Paton named to succeed Day, the one remaining is the lovely Fil-Kiwi, Megan Deen Campbell.)

        Currently competing at Miss Cebu is 2018 Miss Mandaue Gabrielle Carballo. Or, how about her successor, MM 2019 Lorraine Hann?

        Also a MM finalist is Phoebe Godinez (featured before here in Norman’s Blog). Hourglass figure! I think she’s also an Origin* Model (like Gazini, Tracy, & Bea).

        From this year’s MPE are two from the Top 20 – Talisay’s Mary Jane Salisbury & Moalboal’s Charissa Rama. I’m partial to the latter. Though both are on the shorter end, at ~5’4″ I think.

        Phoebe Liong. But last I saw, I think she was in Switzerland. To me, resembles Sandra Lemonon.

        (Unless may tinatago pa silang ‘armas’. Talk about a deep bench!)

        * – Diana Mackey, too. But I think she’s from Nueva Ecija so I don’t know how she ended up in Cebu because I think Origin Model Management is headquartered in Cebu. And while you’re at it, take a ferry ride to adjacent Cagayan de Oro City (where, I am told, Cebuanos first made a beach head in Mindanao long long ago) and go over the options at MACDO – Models Association of CDO.

        Diana Mackey is prob the only one that sounds familiar .
        My choice for next yr would be this yr’s Misamis Oriental. She is super beautiful with comm skills that can rival Cat Bella and Laura Lehman

      • @ Fabian Reyes Si Chella Falconer. She’s (only) 22. A&Q pa. Let’s see if Miss Kuyamis org will again field a rep to MUP next year. They will crown Dannah Tempra’s successor come January. If that will be the case, I wonder if Chella will join as ‘not Misamis Oriental’. REALLY PRETTY.

        Thus far, the only MUP repeater is Christelle Abello. Now Independent, maybe someone can appoint her to some pageant (before she overages).

        Mackey is KF, no?

        I WANT GRACIELLA LEHMANN & KATRINA LLEGADO TO TRY FOR MUP, TOO. 🙂
