  1. Wala pang final predition ang blogger? Sino kya majijinx niya ngayon. Gudlak sa knyang top pick. 😆

      • @ Norman & @ Lemontree At talagang i-ji-jinx, no… Lols. Soon talaga.

Tulad nung sinabi niyang Europeans mananalo sa Supra this year.

Iba talaga kamandag ni Uncle. Kung sa bagay, if MUP 2021 pasavogues are indication, mukhang uso ang ating mga reptile friends for Fall-Winter 2021-22. How that happened, I’m clueless really…

    • Hwag naman sana nyang hulaan na si Leren ko ang mananalo hehehe
Sayang naman kung ma jinx nya
      Joke lang po
I think si Bea ang final pick nya which is Love too just like Leren.

  2. of those who got interviewed in this access online segment, the only ones who do not belong in the unlucky 12 who will go home as clappers are Chanel and Krizhaleen …

      • @ Norman Gud Tue PM, Uncle.

OT. Currently, we have two – paisano (virtual) y paisana (live/on-site) – upholding our sash. Both Finales will be on the 3rd, Sunday? How will this affect PN’s S6E7? 7th na, no?

Ta’s, yun nga. October na next week. What of Cinderella and Montagne’s preparations? Stress na?

Also, nagsimula na ba ME? Preliminary interviews na ba yung ginagawa niyo? How’s Naela?

    • @Thomas, via @Andrew: I like all 30 of them– they all deserve the crown! Anyone of them would make for an excellent rep of the Filipino people in the MU stage. As always, I am ecstatic that our country is blessed with a vast reservoir of inner and outer beauties that come out yearly from all corners of this glorious archipelago. I am grateful that despite the ugliness wrought by this pandemic on our social, economic, political, and personal life, many still find time to celebrate beauty and to thank God’s gift of life.

I congratulate all the ladies who have gone this far. You have all ascribed to the word beauty yet another descriptive word– invincible!

      • Bravo! Well stated! As I mentioned before, truly anyone of the 28 ladies can walk away with the crown. They are a diverse, smart, witty and beautiful group of Filipinas. The winner will truly be the best of the best. Thank you ladies for your hard work. You make us all proud.

  4. @AWL: While I likewise have so many things in my wish list, I also realize this is a pageantry in critical times, where formidable odds are everywhere for an organization to include in its contingency plans elements in a normal show. As things go now, I am already grateful that a show approximating a normal-year pageant is mounted. I think pageant enthusiasts should be thankful that in this time of unpredictable severe lockdowns and strict health protocols, a pageant of this magnitude is still held to entertain us in our home quarantines. Let’s get real: who among the pageant organizations showed the same agility, innovativeness, business savvy, and never-say-die attitude in the face of gargantuan logistical, financial, and operational challenges of this pandemic? Others postponed coronation events several times or simply blissfully hibernated. But one organization moved mountains and hills to give the country a chance to still celebrate beauty in the midst of an ugly menace!

    • In normal times, those who set the pace in business are called “Industry Captains”. I think in abnormal times, the apt label is “Inndustry Champions”. Considering the dgeree of difficulty– the Philippines having the world’s longest lockdown and one with the strictest COVID 19 protocols– MUP’s efforts should be recognized by MUO. From the vantage point of business, this is worth benchmarking by other MU national directorates.

      • @ scorg Kuya, tinatanong ni @ THOMAS kung sino bet niyo. He likes to play ‘vote canvasser’.

You like teachers, no? Rousanne Bernos and Corazon Abalos were… Baka may iba, di lang ako familiar. In any case, reply ka na lang sa kanya. Kasi, you may wish to check the other ladies, too.

Malay mo, manalo ka. You like milk tea or G-cash?

  6. ‘… Exclusive interviews with the judges and the new queen’ means PN’s S6E7 (3 Oct) will have a topic not related to MUP…?…

Ayaw niyo ng TV? Fine. Radyo na lang. Si Mike Enriquez ang annotator. Yun, puwedeng live!

    • Halos isang taon na rin pala. Last year, the Finale was 25 Oct.

MUPO should, for branding, set their Finale for, what’s this, early to mid-Fall? Tama lang, whether Dec or May the following year ang MU para kahit paano may time makapaghanda ang kinatawan.

Uncle, yaman rin lang at effectively tapos na ang Filipinas 2021 national pageant season (MWP, Finale na lang naman), maybe next week simulan niyo na mag-post ulit on your hopefuls for 2022. I have in mind yung taga-UP na gustong sumunod sa yapak ni Atty. M., the RU at ADFQ 2020 na minsan na ring tumalo kay Emma Tiglao, at yung mga naunsiyami sa MF which I assume ay hindi na nga tuloy after the ‘legality’ fiasco…

Speaking of Mdme. EP, please also begin individual features of some MC hopefuls, po. Tyvm. Paz!

  7. Mga vekla masaya ba kayo na si Catriona ang backstage host ng Miss South Africa?

Nalungkot ba naman kayo sa hiwalayang Maggie Wilson at Victor Consunji?

    Charrrooooottt!

      • Not only happy but proud!

Akalain mong pagba-viaje-in nila si Cat ng ganung kalayo just to host an hour event!

There’s really something in her that is worth the wait! Daba?

  8. I am excited for the finals. How I wish the MUPO will make this year’s MUP episode a lot livelier. Perhaps 30% audience capacity of the venue are allowed to watch, so they could cheer the candidates they support.

I also wish that the organization will get Bella Ysmael, Michelle Gumabao and Billie Hackenson as backstage hosts or commentators, so while the girls are doing their stuff on the runway, the commenters can give some backgrounds of the girls and trivia on the dresses they wear. Also, at least one of the girls would get to announce the panel of judges as KC Montero’s co-host. Para naman hindi mapagod si KC.

And as for final wish, the lights and sounds should be well directed. If they only let the GMA’s Lighting Director in The Clash to manage the show’s lighting, it would be much better.

Pero mukhang malabo ang mga suggestion. So, I won’t expect high na lang.

    That’s all.

  9. Let’s see if MUPH2021 will match the popularity of Ang Probinsyano in Youtube..

Chela can be Coco’s leading lady in the series come 2025. 😝

And I am still waiting for Pauline Amelinckx to be a contrabida opposite Jodi Sta Maria. 😝

    My wishful thoughts.

Sir Norman, what do you think of the CreamSilk’s Conditioned for Greater clip featuring Ayn x Jedidah x Julia?

I am impressed how the org followed the MU blueprint for promotion of sponsorships.

I always hear the ladies saying they are tired.

  10. October 3 9 ng umaga
    tas dadamihan ng commercials ito

eh sandamakmak na nakapanuod nyan sa pa live
    YT, FB and IG

    maparaan ang mga Pinoys noh

    • @kembular. There are still some who have no internet access whose source of entertainment is television. Isn’t this a nice move of MUP? This would not only benefit the MUP org and TV network through advertisements but also the viewing public.

      • But those who don’t have internet access are likely not interested in pageants either
Even though pageants are popular in the Philippines , majority are not fanatics
Like in our family of 10 , I’m the only one who watches pageants . The rest could care less

  11. Wow! The same as last year. MUP is making sure that the event will reach a wider audience.
