My Choice is still the same,
Ingrid Santamaria
Jasmine Umali
Megan Roa Digal
I’ve been wondering if Frontow is still a sponsor. On that note, I’ve been pondering on the importance of individual sponsors in the final results. Does having an influential, a politically powerful, or a moneyed sponsor tilt pageant decisions in one’s favor? Does this kind of influence happen at major pageants?
My current Top 15- in random order
Steffi Aberasturi
Maureen Wroblewitz
Katrina Dimaranan
Beautrice Luigi Gomez
Maria Corazon Abalos
Leren Bautista
Jasmine Umali
Ingrid Santamaria
Kirsten Delavin
Victoria Velasquez Vincent
Christine Abello
Ayn Bernos
Princess Singh
Janela Joy Cuaton
Kesha Ramachandran
@Flor I’m not a fan of half-baked candidate to represent Philippines at MU. I’m pertaining to MU closed-door interview not MUP’s, as a response to JPB’s assumption on how she will easily go to the top. How??? Looking at her aweful performance in interview challenge with Mr. Voltaire, I dn’t think she can survive more of these at MU. I’m sorry! She is not a S-P-O-K-E-S-P-E-R-S-O-N.
*awful
So you mean to say that MU is only looking for a spokesperson? Then send Bernos!
@ Lemontree @ Paul!
🙂
Nagbago ka na. Pero, ‘di vale. We see through your camouflage.
You were busy with your new venture – lemons? How many did you plant? When expect harvest?
And speaking of lemon tree, I recall that hotel I stayed at ten years ago. Like sentinels two lemon shrubs stood at the entrance, so heavy-laden with bright yellow fruit it felt creepy… But pretty.
Lemontree,
I am sure if Ms. Leren Mae Bautista reads your comment, she would make a sweet lemonade out of you; her own version of the famous lemonades prepared in the US south.
Let’s remember that Leren did well in the international stage and in fact has an international title already. This just proves that there is really something there including her communication skills.
There are people who stutters in English when conversing to a fellow Filipino but speaks differently and fluently to a native (English) speaker. I believw Leren is like this.
Corrine Abalos instead of Katrina is another girl whom I’m rooting for.
I’m done with the halfies for now.
Nope. Leren Bautista is still b*b*/b**bita!! Imbes na lemonade, baka ipanghalo niya lemons sa buko pie ng collette’s. Shunga si girl, remember?
Lemontree,
By the look of it, it seems you have something personal against Leren and Im not a privy to that so I rest my case.
Steffi looks very feminine when she walks and struts on stage
But when she starts talking , she loses the feminine vibe and the classiness.
So my choice right now for MUP is Katrina D vs VVV
Steffi is that loud and obnoxious cheerleader in school who, when you get grouped with her, contributes nothing to the discussion. Maiirita ka lang kasi ang daldal pero walang ambag.
Ganda lang talaga puhunan nya.
Unfortunately, BEAUTY PAGEANT nga Diba. So ganda ang iaambag. Hay nako.
Do you think in her previous local pageants winning walang Q&A hahahaha… plus rarely pa siya natalo.
I actually am excited to see this top 30. I will say it again, we might be in for a surprise that this batch could be more competitive than we initially thought.
Mr. Tinio, please ask Boss Volter that, in addition to Janick, it may be nice to also invite Klara Vavruskova and Bianca Tirsin into the Finale Judging Panel, as external party and virtual. 🙂
So as the MUPh-judged Challenge winners, safe to say that 5 spots are already reserved for Abalos, Gomez, Aberasturi, Wroblewitz, and Vincent.
Obviously, 2 of the 3 automatic placements due to fan votes will go to Delavin and Bernos. The last spot might go to either Dimaranan or Bautista because they also have a big fanbase.
So only 22 spots left, really.
I won’t complain as long as the other strong girls are in – Abello, Cuaton, Hipolito, Korinihona, Umali, Falconer, Singh, Santamaria, Ramachandran, Framil, Yeboah, and Rabe. The others are just going to be fillers.
Fillers for me are the top 3 from fan votes 🤣
Everyone is dropping Leren from their list. We might all be surprised come finals night.
With MUs latest format, Leren has the best chance in advancing into the top 5 after the gown and swimsuit competition. She is the most polished when it comes to stage presentation.
Rabiya’s hyped communication skills did not help her to even reach top 10. It was her dismal swimsuit performance that doomed her.
For me, Leren’s average communication skills (she was actually good during Miss Globe’s H2H challenge) coupled with an excellent performance in the prelims will be enough for her to be included in the top 21 and from there, she will go all the way to the top 5 then a runner up finish.
All the others for me are amateurish. I don’t want to see someone in Israel that is loaded with comms skills but dismal on stage.
Remember, last year’s top 3 are all pageant veterans.
Yes. And I doubt that mu will revert to the 2018 and 2019 format where there’s a lot of talking. Iiwasan pa rin nila yan in Israel. Swimsuit evening gown q and a format pa rin yan.
If she could survive the closed-door interview
Leren remains in the top 5 …
Katrina
Maureen
Victoria
Steffi
Leren
Bloodbath indeed for this top 5
Closed-door interview palang laglag na yang girl na yan sa kab*b*han niya sumagot and wala talagang personality plus the nerves.. Jeez!!! Wag na ipilit! Magmodel nlng siya sa Mt. Makiling.
@ Lemontree Let’s not dismiss her altogether, po. She will learn from last year’s bet from Sulop, on how to not sound silly at the Preliminary Interview. 🙂
Hopefully, she will sound a bit more like the Binibini from Padada.
I have wonderful memories of Mt. Makiling. I’ve been there many times! By now, rambutan is peddled at its base, at very affordable rate*, crawling with ants as proof of sweetness and fully-organic beginnings.
* – in ‘tiklis’, the small basket for holding fruit.

Or ‘kaing’, if you can finish all that in one sitting…
Good Thu AM!
Friend, you have news/update on where the candidates now proceed (to)? Falconer has checked into Laguindingan and Aberrasturi had her simple-intimate ‘birthday-merienda-&-despedida’ over the weekend. I doubt they are headed to Manila, still under (m)ECQ as it is. We await your reply, thx.
I am hopefull Leren will end up at least a runner up finish. Who knows she might ace the final q and and win.
I am still solid with my top 5
Aberasturi
Bautista
Dimaranan
Vincent
Wroblewitz
The winner will be from these 5.
