Miss Universe Japan 2020 Aisha Harumi Tochigi comes from such a diverse background. Her father was originally from Togo. Her mother is Japanese. And she grew up in both Ghana and Japan.
Discrimination is nothing new to Aisha. She is considered a mixed minority in Japan. But having experienced the hard life in Africa, she took everything in with strength and determination. Having contracted malaria as a child, she went on to become an activist for its eradication as well as campaigning for Women’s Rights and orphanages.
Her platform as an Asian-Black woman is to spread awareness about discrimination and race/gender equality. She may very well be one of the best persons to push for this cause in the 69th Miss Universe.

She needs fans’ votes to reach top 21
I hope she will make it to TOP 20, or even TOP 10. I would be very happy for her.
Japan 2015 is much more superior …
Aisha Harumi Tochigi finished in Top 5 when she first joined Miss Universe Japan 2019. She decided to try one more time and finally she was able to get the title Miss Universe 2020. I hope she will surpassed the achievement of Miss Universe Japan 2015 who is also a mixed race African American Japanese, she finished Top 10.
Not the prettiest but she could reach the top 20…
Highest could be Top 10….
