  1. Rabiya has a convincing presence.

God bless you, Rabiya. Enjoy! I believe that you can deliver. We will be supporting you.

Let the MU fever begin! Haha.

  2. ganda ni ineng
    palaban

    dami garapata ng blusa

    good luck ineng
bring home happy memories from florida

    • @ kembular2020 You’re right. Pearls simply cannot serve as embellishment in this manner.

On SamBer’s BBP 2020 Isorena NatCos, it looked like tumors. 😦

But they make neat cuff links or buttons… Functionality may be the key!

Of course, we are talking about imitation ones here.

I am reminded of a strand which consisted entirely of near-perfect natural (not farmed) ones. Was it Tiffany or Cartier? Story was, the owner paid for it with one of her apartments in the more affluent parts of New York. INDEED.

  3. I think we need to avoid adjectives that can only be proven wrong later on . like relatability and authenticity .
Why not stick to the words like pretty , in shape , articulate , and determined .. to which no one could argue against ??

  4. Goodluck Rabiya! Kung magkataon, kung manalo siya, I think she will be more popular than any of the recent MU winners. She is very relatable sa masa. Parang Megan Young na wala masyadong arte with Pia’s determination. Kung di man siya palarin sa MU, try niya sa Miss World.

  5. THIS IS MOT ANYMORE ABOUT CAMPS OR WHOS HANDLING WHO!—- THIS IS NOW ABOUT THE PHILIPPINE DELEGATE,NAMED RABIYA MATEO..AND SHE IS PUTTING HER BEST FOOT FORWARD FOR THE COMPETITION!! LET US LEAVE OUR NEGATIVITIES ASIDE AT THIS TIME..EVEN OUR HEARTFELT OPINIONS DON’T MATTER ANYMORE THIS TIME WITH RABIYA!! SHE IS NOW ON HER OWN BATTLEFIELD!.. FOR OUR 5TH MU CROWN!!..SHE IS REPRESENTING US ALL 1O8 MILLION FILIPINOS!

  6. Wow ! Very Best of Luck Rabiya ! Aim for top 3 , I know I am wishing that it comes true !

    • This has nothing to do with the camps.

Rather it’s throwing support behind the delegate who’s carrying the country’s flag in competition abroad.

We did the same for Samantha Bernardo’s departure to Thailand.

I would hope that KF would have the grace, the courtesy, & the humanity to do the same for Rabiya.

    • ay may taga Cubao na naligaw dito? sige ilabas nyo lang yung galit nyo, matagal tagal pa bago maibalik sa inyo yung franchise…

  7. Her body looks so toned. And she is smizing.

Her departure outfit is spot on. I remember when Catriona left for Miss Universe her outfit is amazing.

Looks like we under estimated her preparation for Miss Universe.

    Good luck Rabiya

  8. I just love how expressive her eyes are. She seems overjoyed and excited for this next chapter in her MUP life- the actual competition.

She will be a force. I think she will not only charm the organization with her conviction, but they will see another authentic Filipina on stage who has her own brand to offer.

I trust the process. I trust her team despite the negativities on social media and them keeping things more private.

Folks, this is not a sprint, but a marathon. I have a feeling they are reserving their energies for that final stretch; some may have started and charged earlier but might not have enough left in the tank versus them who start slow but has enough fuel to finish first in the podium.

  9. I love her styling. I also love her outfit. I have a feeling that she will be one of the 3 finalists, perhaps even win the title.

    • TOP 3 LANG Scorg. Yung realistic lang HUWAG uber, uber ang expectations dahil she is FAR from being CATRIONA, DEMI or even PIA.

      • @paul. Her passion to succeed in life is very evident. She had proven so many times that with right attitude and determination, anything can be possible. The odds are in her favour. All she has to wish is for the stars to align for her in the coronation night.

      • Serge pala, I’m sorry. MUO is also doing business aside from engaging in CSR. There is politics as well playing in the pageant field.

I DO NOT THINK it’s GOOD for MUO (and the entire universe) to have a FOUR year back-to-back win (just) BETWEEN TWO COUNTRIES – South Africa and Philippines. Ibigay naman sa iba na deserving din such as PERU (#1), Chile, Brazil and/or countries which have NOT won like Nicaragua, Curacao, Romania, Czech Republic, or even Laos (who is so pretty.) LET US NOT MADAMOT (naman) to other countries just because we are patriotic/nationalistic.

Thank you and good morning to all.

      • @paul. I see Shamcey in Rabiya. I really expected Shamcey would win. It’s just that the stars did not align for her that night.

      • No Serge. It had NOTHING to do with the stars. Shamcey gave a poor answer (very selfish and unbecoming of a global ambassador) on the question of religion change. Angola, Ukraine and Brazil gave politically correct answers, hence their placements. MASAKIT sa TENGA PAKINGGAN ang SAGOT ni Shamcey. I EVEN TRANSLATED HER ANSWER in FILIPINO (and posted it here) to stress my point. Rabiya should learn from Leila, Catriona, Zozi and even Pia in in the Q&A segments.

YOU ALIGN the STARS for your success, DO NOT WAIT for the STARS to ALIGN FOR YOU because there are SO MANY STRONG FORCES HOOVERING the Universe. Yun na.

  10. No mask can hide such gorgeous face. And look at her profile here, she’s competition-ready. I’m also grinning in my nook because the little insignificant things I mentioned in my previous comments are aligned with what her team has done. Observe her cleaner forehead, hairline and temple areas, those baby hairs are gone. They’ve also styled her hair away from her beautiful face for people to see (well, underneath the mask). These “seeming puny” things made a marked difference.

After all the hurdles she went through, her journey to the homestretch starts. From now on, it’s her show to spin. Unless we are part of her close-in entourage, all we can do now is to support her while being entertained at the same time. Godspeed Miss Philippines. You have my vote. With that, I can now veer away from writing more comments in this blog and just privately enjoy the ride – well, until the next MU edition.

  11. Good luck, Rabiya! I know you can give us our 5th MU crown Do it the way you did at MUP. Enthrall us again with a come-from-behind win!

    • It was not really a “come from behind win” it’s more of like MUP being new wants a winner that is fresh. All her runners up aren’t. Well Bella is a part of a clan that is known. Rabiya deserved her win but it’s an organizational decision to begin with.

  12. Good luck Rabiya!! Bring home the 5th! Praying for your safety and success.

Starting today, no more criticism. Her training has been finished. Giving any feedback (especially negative ones) will just be useless and counterproductive. Just sending good vibes to you.

    World, or rather Universe, Peace!
