Behold your #Binibini16 Alexandra Mae Rosales of Laguna in her Bb. Pilipinas National Costume created by Richard Barretto of HITOMI:
Ani Ng Laguna
(Notes from the designer)
This traditional costume is made of 100% indigenious materials, the base is made up of Banig cloth which signifies the simple living of Lagunenos and Lagunenses.
Adorned with different shapes and sizes of wooden beads which represents the rich culture and tradition and of course the different tourist attractions of Laguna, the flourescent colors represents the Grandeous Festival of the Province of Laguna which is the ANILAG (Ani ng Laguna) Festival which is celebrated yearly every March as a form of thanks giving to God for the Bountiful harvest from the Laguna Lake to the Rice fields and Farms.
Mabuhay Laguna!!!

Walis-tambo lang nagdala, sobrang busy ng kulay🌈🌈🌈🌈🧐
Akala ko sketch pa lang. Nung wala na akong nakitang ibang picture, na-realize ko na sobrang edit na naman nito.
I don’t know if it’s the lighting but I find the multiple neon colors clashing in a bad way…. and too many busy patterns with no unifying factor…. I find this design hard to apreciate… Definitely a show stopper that would make you cringe.
6.5 stars for the effort…
Puwedeee…. 🙂
Roberta Tamondong, ikaw ba yan? Indigenious vs Indigenous?
